HBI Kawasaki?

Saw ML mentioned in the Kullas thread that HBI will not be returning for 2025. Any idea where any of their guys end up? Slade Varola? Ayden Shive?

Didn't Braswell start out the year on that team too before tearing his knee up? Munoz too I think.

Does anyone know why they are not continuing? it seemed like they were ambitious last year.

I'm sure it has to do with money.

I’d guess money and stress.

Dude behind it is a cool dude though!

I think its the same song and dance with the teams we see come and go. Best way to get a million from running a race team? Start with two million. I wish these guys could at least break even so they would stay around.

Like many others, they get tired of standing over the toilet flushing $100 bills 24 hours a day!

My buddy Matt owns the team. Pretty sure just has to do with the cost of going racing.

It's sad to see teams come and go so quickly. I wonder if the five-rider lineups is too much. Maybe teams like Solitaire have it better for long term health by only having two riders and doing supercross-only.

I spoke with their team guys earlier this year, awesome dudes, they do it for the love of the sport for sure.

It just cost so damn much to field a team and all of the expenses...

It’s brutally expensive to go racing. I hope they can do something, if nothing else organize an effort for tristar arenacross.

Short story they poached the Geico sponsorship which lead to Geico Honda going away. Mike Grondahl did a podcast with Gypsy Tales and explained it.

I hope for the sake of HEP, KTM, Star and HRC that Progressive never becomes a series partner. Oh wait . . .

I hope we don't lose Monster Energy Kawasaki and Monster Energy Star Yamaha if Monster ever decides to get involved with series sponsorship. Oh wait . . .

Geico became a series sponsor of AMA pro motocross before the 2014 season, they left FC Honda almost 7 years later. One had nothing to do with the other. But I get it, if I caused the doors to close on a legendary team I would also probably look to pin the blame elsewhere.

He should have kept his mouth shut and keep things private.

Check the Dumbgeon. The "Mob" leader started a new YouTube channel or took over Grondahl's.
