As I said earlier, pointless, and now just circling the bowl with stupidity. What an -f'ed-up place, this MX forum.

Honestly, I think that their are those special individuals that can ride a motorbike fast if given the proper support from all parts of the globe.
The idea that Americans or Europeans are somehow superior is just silly. They are just a bit different do to a different set of circumstances. And it's just riding a dirt bike around in circles fast anyways. Who the eff cares?
For gosh sake every American Pro as well as fan has 90% European blood pumping thru their veins anyways. Ain't none of them Native Americans. We might exclude Bubba from the 90% rule.

My point being, there are lots of great points in ol' Hank_Thrill's arguments just like there are in many others post's (unfortunately for every good post there is at least two moronic posts to skim through). Take for example the Olympics, certain countries don't have much snow therefore choose only to compete every 8 years when the only ice you can find at the games is in a coca-cola. When a country like Jamaica fields a bobsled team you don't expect them to win..they are happy to qualify and there is national pride in their country when they do so.
When America wins the most medals at an Olympic games or when the US wins the MXdN we understand that we as a country can afford the opportunity to become a contender for that title. Just like when France, Italy, Australia, Belgium, South Africa etc...show up to the MXdN they know that there is a legitimate chance of winning the thing. We Americans should not be less proud that we won even if we do have the best combination of economic prosperity, population density, or facilities. In fact, on the contrary having these opportunities probably makes the U.S. take loosing the MXdN harder than any other country.
Bottom Line: Come MXdN time we Americans should feel free to be as proud and root as hard for our country as any other country. But if we are the 2010 champs we can be as prideful as ever, however we need to carry our pride graciously.
Besides isn't the better argument which series, AMA or GP is stronger?

People get offended when they bring what they have (their best, active and healthy riders, and their national pride) to fight and the winner sort of shrugs off their challenge.
Well, that's my take on the whole MXdN topic at least. Cheer more for your fortunes and gloat less about others misfortunes, and the world will lighten up a bit I believe.
And good post BLAHBLAH, well said.
