Went to go out for a ride kicked the bike like 50 times it wouldn’t start. I looked down and the ht lead wasn’t it . So I ran up to the garage put it back in and it wouldn’t fire up . Tried starting it on bump and it idled and ran perfectly then I shut the bike off and then it won’t kick . I left the bike for an hour boom first kick the bike fired up I let it idle for 5 mins then it wouldn’t kick start again . The bike seems to like starting cold first try but if I let it warm it it’s 50+ kicks and it won’t do a thing . Listen to uncle Ron Mac and go buy a 2 stroke . Hopefully one of you guys can help me I literally spent all my money on this dam thing and all it’s cost me is my man hours .

spark plugs fouling or your valves are out of spec
I ordered a new spark plug and I do hear a bit of clanking like 1 out of 10 kicks is that a sign of loose exhaust valves
I would try the spark plug, if it’s not that check your valves.
My bike was having issues starting and it was my valves.
MAKE SURE your timing is correct when you put it back together.
Did you try installing a new battery?
Seriously though, check the valves.

There is also a capacitor that holds some voltage to help get the pump spinning that could be bad. You can't spin it as fast with the KS as you can pushing it to allow the stator to send current. The capacitor and the stator working together get it going when you KS it. Just a possibility.
If you let your bike idle for 5min, I'm going with valves out of spec.
I have to ride it bike from my friends house how bad would it damage anything it my valves are out of spec
No I swapped a kdx 125 for it and the guy who had the 450 said he couldn’t ride it to much power so I don’t know what condition the bikes been left in
What needs replacing potentially or how can I test the parts I have
My brother had a YZ450f that had this same problem, it turned out to be the stator. Bike would kickstart when cold but would only restart by being bump started. Not sure if the RMZ would act the same, but worth considering.
Cheers mate any help is appreciated at this point
Question for you. Have you owned a 4 stroke before??
They are a lot harder to start once hot. If we assume that it’s mechanically okay, then can we ask if your starting technique is on point??
Are you applying any throttle when you kick ?
Does it have a hot start lever?
Are you getting it to tdc before ya big kick ?
