Anyone buy a 2025 YZ450 yet?

If so, what'd you pay out the door?

I picked up a new 23' when they first came out and am getting much higher quotes than that from dealers here in SoCal. Wondering how everyone else is faring...

Looks like the prices went up another $400 since '23. If you don't get the destination charge ($600) waived then quotes will likely be $1000 more than what we could get two years ago. What did you pick up your '23 for if you don't mind me asking?

That’s crazy talk when you can get a KX for $8k.

We are at $10,600 OTD for 25's, 24's at $9400 OTD for standard blue model   that's fully fueled, PDI'd, paperwork done, shaking hands, loading bike, ready to go.  Any takers come call or visit the dealership in Bozeman, MT.

Id wait.. I just got a ‘24 for 8200 plus tax a week ago. As you probably know there isn’t anything significantly changed on the bike from 23-25  in my opinion.

They made changes that help the stability of the pitching going into turns etc. Jordan is a good dude who shall we say doesn’t leave bikes stock. In your case, find the updated parts and slap them on. They make a large improvement

May I ask from where?  I am considering the same bike and that price is attractive.  I too am in So Cal.  Thank you in advance.

resale on used bikes is garbage from what I've sold in the past. I would use the money and buy a kit suspension and whatever parts you need to get comfortable on the bike than starting over on a new bike is what I am getting at. jerry robin beating guys on 85 cr 250

if you got the money to burn then why not.... if you think you're going to be faster on a 25 vs 23 I think you're going to be disappointed.

My dad actually freshened that bike up before he went to LL’s.

Loved my 23 and built it very well. I wanted to get the new model with the updated linkage, clutch, and electronics suite. I’m under no delusion I’m going to be faster on the new model, but I wanted the updated one anyway. I dont quite understand why people are against people buying new bikes if they want them. Building them is part of the fun, at least for me. Different strokes 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thanks, buddy!

Yep, have some updated settings from Enzo to use when transferring the stuff from my 23 to my 25. New spring in the rear and changed the valve stack as well. Should be finished by this weekend to go out and rip!

I get where you’re coming from. im not against it one bit. I’m not fast enough to notice the difference to justify going to 23 to 25. However my 17’ ktm 450 to the 24 yz I noticed the motor is night and day difference along with the entire bike. I love the bike. I’m sure the 25 more refined and I would like that bike too.

No it’s not according to the sales manager, but yes that’s what I paid. Emailed them and they did a warehouse transfer same day. Picked it up after work.

Cool. Good deal! That's with tax? - had it shipped to your out of state address?

I live a few miles away from the shop so I just went there and picked it up. That’s everything included.

For reference, a number of shops wouldn’t come down off of 12k + OTD, but FBC matched a quote I had from an out of state dealer. It’s my second bike I’ve gotten from them in as many years.

Haven’t seen much on the ‘25 Yamaha but that thing looks sweet with the stock graphics!

That's awesome. Good for you! Smoking deal. Not sure how a Calif dealer can sell a bike to a Calif resident and match an out of state dealer that doesn't need to charge sales tax. Yamaha also charges a 600.00 destination fee to the dealer. Whatever the case, congrats. Great bike and a great deal.
