Here is what it is, when James came on the scene, some people where thinking it was a fad and it will pass, he probably won't amount to anything. Oh, then the kid started opening eyes and then people wished he would yard sale every race, so yeah it happened a few times, who rides in this sport hard and not yard sale? Anyhow, James has a good support system and advisors, his support system has probably advised him that riding smart and riding SX only, is for his only option for longevity in the sport. He has already set records, yes not MC's or RC's, but nontheless set his own, which I can't say for most of us here, except maybe for jealousy!! What the kid and his handlers decide at this point is all good, and if James decideds tomorrow not toever ride a motorcycle ever, he has opened eyes and diversified the sport for ever and will have left a legacy!! Will we ever see another JBS, maybe not or not in a while. We will NEVER see another RC or MC as far as the records they set for indoors and out.

I agree about his show [color=blue]TJ[/color].

At first I liked it and actually started "liking" James. But the last show really sealed the deal. It was the one that he was "bitching" about having to go meet the fans, and then making all the Tucker Rocky guys wait. He came across very arrogant and not very appreciative of what his fans and sponsors have done for him.

Hey DV, we miss you in the states but enjoy you visiting here at Vital. Glad to see you can take the hecklers in stride, as TJ sweeps them out the door.

Getting back to your topic question, I think less and less people worry about what Bubba would do each day. It's a shame, but as you know better than most when you're not out there winning, people tend to forget quickly.

I've not watched Bubba's world, but it doesn't sound that is doing his image any favors.

I like that DV posts here and all, I'm just surprised he said what he did. It's a slap in the face to everyone that actually races the outdoors. The multi million thing kind of threw me off a little too. I mean really, who gives a shit? Did anyone ever say " well yeah,DV, you were good and all, but RC made your accomplishments in MX look like a nothing"? That's how you make it sound when you talk about JS smoking everyone. It may be true, but doesn't need to be said. Same thing goes for the comment about you and RC.

You may be right. That's the downfall to writing instead of talking. The Bubba thing still doesn't make any sense though. It doesn't really matter, I was just taken back that an ex pro would say that knowing full well he is one of the guys that got spanked for years. Maybe that gives him the right to say it then.
