Can someone speak to this team listed because I heard Max Nagl is not racing?

Germany
Team Manager: Marcel Dornhöfer
10 Ken Roczen (Suzuki)
11 Simon Längenfelder (GasGas)
12 Maximilian Nagl (Honda)

I haven't heard that Max isn't racing. He's on the official team as of now.
If he doesnt then Germany has 3 backup 450 riders that they announced as part of the lineup: Tom Koch, Spies and Jacobi. I'd think Koch gets the nod if Max doesn't race

I just want to know if Tanel Leok is racing for Estonia.

I see Martin Barr is in the Irish Team - he's done a Lot of MXdNs, but not as much as Tanel, though, he has an excuse as he's a few years younger than Tanels 39 years.

Nothing against Tonus but Greutmann should have been the MX2 rider

Agreed. Pure "name selection".

Bad luck keeps following me. I couldn't go anywhere when that rider fell right in front of me, crashed straight into him and got my bike on top of me. Result: a lot of scrapes and burns. Still, those injuries weren't the reason for my forfeit. I could have ridden, but mentally I'm a bit down after all those setbacks. That serious elbow injury, the operations, the difficult rehabilitation... And now this again. This is just too much for me. I have to empty my head first. There's a big chance that I won't ride a GP anymore this year.

Wow this is sad to read. Buddy needs a break.

Indeed, he needs to find the fun again in his work.

And money, sponsor of Tonus brings quite a lot into the Swiss team.

Don’t think that he will ride, as Star won’t send anyone over.

Thats something I didn’t expect. But that hurts Deegan quite a bit. Happy to see that Max will ride at his home race!

Star told the UK they needed 70k to send anstie over there. The UK said no chance. Well, an undisclosed “sponsor” has stepped up to cover the costs! Sounds like a Brit but I’m not for certain. I know one thing, Lewis did NOT cover the 70k

That’s what happens when you want to race for your country , you make it happen 🦾🔥 team said not for free, UK said can’t pay but here we are with Max on the squad 👊

What a reasonable fee. Not.

If it cost even a fraction of that to send one rider to the Nations then this event would cease to be a thing immediately. What a joke Star are

Apparently someone stumped up the cash that Star was asking.

I think it's a bad thing someone agreed to the rumored sum. It obviously worked for Star to put this ridiculous sum as the price, and may set a pretty dangerous precedent for the future.

As a fan of the event, i would've much rather seen UK give Star the finger like i assume the French federation/team did with them last year.

Yes I agree. Obviously it makes a big difference to our team to have Max, it’s not as easy for us to replace him as it was for France to replace Ferrandis. But in the long run, it probably would’ve been for the best not to pay what they were asking.

Countries have sent full teams, with a pretty solid and well backed efforts for less than what Star were asking for. Between that and the way they’ve treated some of their riders over the years, I have very little respect for them

With his son being a few years off , will we see a team with a father and son ?

What happens if Stars rider gets hurt at the des nations and misses the whole next year of racing because of it? Does Star have it in their contracts that if a rider gets hurt at an event that Star doesn’t support, they don’t get paid?
