When one of the qualified riders is injured does that move 21st-20th up a spot? Full field of 20 to start ?

No, they just take more from the LCQ to make the 22 rider gate.

Wasn't that not the case last year? They really wanted to make 20th in points a hard cutoff and just take more from the LCQ.

Aeffertz is correct...

Top 20 are seeded. If 4 of them can't make it, then 4 more are taken in the LCQ on top of the 2 already taken, so 6 total. (22 to mains)

I heard they invited back to 46 already for Charlotte, I'm more interested in who is NOT coming.

Like Geiser couldnt just show up to do the LCQs he has to be in points

But wouldnt that make who ever is in 22nd if 21st and 20th dropped out qualify for the mains and the people at the tailend behind them get invited to LCQs to try and qualify?
