This may have been revealed in another thread, but I haven't seen it. Christian Craig said, in the latest VitalMX interview after the Ironman round, that he has "secured a deal for the next two years"...but failed to reveal exactly who he'd secured the 2-year deal with. He said it would be "different"...
Is he staying with Husqvarna, or moving to Star Racing Yamaha as it's rumored? Anybody around here know...?
There's a multi page thread on this very topic
He will be racing a 450 for the star 250 program.
Meaning his deal is with star Yamaha not like Eli, Webb, and cooper with factory Yamaha.

Keeping his Fox contract? Like I asked in the other thread, Fox wouldn't refuse to let him out if it was the only real offer he had, would they? I understand that business is business, but there wouldn't seem to be much upside holding him to his contract while sitting on the couch, would there?

You woulda thought an "out" for team change would be standard in any contract?
Kind of crazy this dude keeps getting good rides
I doubt his fox deal is a huge money deal anyways, they likely got him pretty cheap. And many times riders have all their deals on the same timeframes so that when they change teams they are shopping/renewing deals all at the same time.
Who you know and who you blow is real...
I can't imagine that he's helping them sell more gear anyways. Not a dig, but he doesn't get much airtime so not a large loss for them
Agreed, I'm a big fan of his but unfortunately for him his big money days are likely behind him.
What you guys are saying may be true on paper but fair due...the guy is out there trying to earn a check with that fucked up arm. If he continues to improve there's teams that can use him.
I don't know what you all are talking about but I seen him in the top 10 in the premier class most of the nationals. How doesn't that deserve a good ride???
He's definitely improved this summer, I truly hope he continues the trend in supercross. He had some damn good fill in 450 rides so its a big bummer to see that speed not regularly realized the last few years.
He’s back in the top 10 even with a messed up elbow. His last Moto he finished 7th. And ended the season 8th in points. For some reason a lot of people don’t think a top 10 rider is worthy of a ride anymore. Which I don’t get. Especially the 450 class.
I agree. Only on vital is a top 10 rider not worthy of a good ride. Let alone any ride.
Not true. But anyway
ML does a great job explaining things here
If you're not first, you're last. 2nd place is the first loser. Hunter Lawrence and everybody behind him sucks. I thought that was common knowledge!

Pit Row
😂 I know your kidding. But sadly that’s the attitude of a lot of people on here. It’s brutal.
He was GTG when he was riding around in 15th. Now he has a bad elbow and is finishing top 10. Got it.
Predictably his results improved in the last couple months of his contract. Imagine that.
I don't blame him. Being fluff boy for the Deeg's is better than the couch.
He’s top 10 in the 450 class and you think it’s crazy he gets good rides… How many guys do you think should get good rides? 5?
His wife is pretty popular on the socials. Especially with other moto moms. He’s getting more exposure than you think.
I was in the GAP a few weeks ago and they were on a big ass poster in the store. Was pretty rad to see!
Truth is he has had the worst performance of any factory 450 guy for a long time. Does that guarantee one a factory ride?
I "thought" i saw on the broadcast earlier in the season, that he got some treatment that even allowed him to start strength training on that arm. Said he was gonna ride it into shape. I think JT or Wedge even commented on it looking wierd.
colt nichols or shane mclerath could have had the ride and maybe been better? you never know.
You’re one of the most low brow and tasteless posters on here. It’s sad to think you’re an adult.
What? Worst performance of a factory rider in a long time? Didn’t he just beat Malcolm this past weekend? That doesn’t seem like a very long time to me.
Fox loves him because he is the only rider brave enough to wear a onezie on race day. 😆
No amount of money would get me in that thing.
My apologies if you do not like the taste of the truth and or your feelings got bruised.
