Seems every time he gets doubted, he pulls one out of his hat.

Good ride today, however it definately looks wide open, quite a few guys that will win races. Going to be an awesome year, thank god for the outdoors!

No one in the class is mentally tough enough to challenge Reed. Sorry 800 fans.

Funny how so many (myself included) did not think he would be winning races (at least not yet). Just did not seem comfortable on the green bike, coming back from injuries, new baby, etc..

He seems to step up whenever people start to doubt him, just to prove all of us dumb ass computer dongs wrong. Congrats to him, he earned it.

People like Reed because he actually races. He earned my respect last year in outdoors. Plus he is always solid. And he seems to be speaking his mind lately. I guess you can do that when you have f#$K you money.

Do you remember last year at GH when I talked to Ferry during the moto (he was injured) and even he thought Reed was underestimating the class?

Maybe Reed is more headstrong than anybody thinks. I heard him say that this is the first year he has ever properly prepped for an outdoor season. It shows!

He has been speaking his mind since he has been racing in the US. Glad you guys finally see it for what it is.

Ok, what is it?

Chad Reed always talks crap. If other riders would do this same thing, the rider would be slammed for it and people would say they are cocky or complaining or they have a big mouth (i.e. James Stewart or Mike Alessi), but Reed talks smack and people say "he speaks his mind".

Incorrect. Other riders like MA and JS dont speak their mind....they talk up their ego. They talk about themselves and how they rode so good etc.

Chad doesnt. Chad talks his mind about the track...about the politics...He doesn't boast about his win or his big ego.

Not being a dick, but Chad has spoken his mind clear as day since he turned pro...

You should ask the other Aussies about the Peter Melton - Lee Hogan story where Chad was accused of cheating... Basically told them to STFU and he would kick their ass next week...

He did too, 16 years old in the 250 class and all...

My Brother and I were having a laugh how people seem to have come around to liking him, dudes always been bad ass, attitude hasn't really changed, just people finally got that with Chad, what you see is what you get, nothing more, nothing less

Exactly... In fact, you'd be hard pressed to find him being cocky in any interview... And even more so, when he has had his butt handed to him at times, he just says he wasn't good enough, or gives a valid reason for why he didn't feel he could put it out there...

He's honest, sometimes people like it, sometimes they don't... Seems more and more people are!!!

Where have you been the last few years....... It wasn't that long ago that Chad couldn't breath without someone bitchin and moaning about every little thing he did........ It's good to see people finally coming around and understanding him a bit better....... A lot of Aussies have been defending Reedy for years....... Its good to see him finally getting some love.
