What a GP, some great racing. But damn, the organisation needs to step up their game. Every path you went down was a dead end, which also meant viewing was terrible from most spots and the parking was a disaster. I was glad I could get up the Monster viewing area and actually watch the race properly.
Would love to some them under DeCoster.

Yeah I don't know why he would do that. There was that rumor and he was asked about it in a press conference and he didn't deny it. Basically said that was one of his options and he'll announce soon what he'll end up doing.
With the amount of crashes he's had I'm not sure if it would be the best idea. Although he'll surely be fast. I guess we'll see at Matterly Basin already. MXGP class for Belgium 17 y/o

I thought it was all pretty good......when you see how little space they had....I just thought it was ridiculous that you had to pay extra for the stands....when the entrance fee is 95 euro
... It can be a long wait to get up there, no matter what level of pass you have on your wrist or neck.
Glad you were able to get to the top, they only allowed 17 people up there I believe...
KNMV has the Arnhem track contracted thru next year for MXGP, after that who knows....

The whole first 450 moto was incredible and the intensity in the opening laps of the second was full on..
I don't think it's sunshine and rainbows in KRT or Nestaan Husky haha

According to press release a kneeinjury and chevks on monday should tell more about the severity.
They just dont have the space. For the viewing the only solution i can think of is build a big hill all along the back end of the circuit where 1 of the stands was. They have a maybe 10-15 meters left in terms of depth that they could use over 100-150 meters
But that is probably to costly?
As 64smoker pointed out, he's on his journey to 18.
He Could drop back from 450s after an MXGP season, on going to the USA, unless he'd won the MXGP title.
But, swapping to 450, when there's no need to, well, that way madness lies. He's (and his brother ) obviously extremely talented, but, I very much doubt he's that 'generational' (c/r JL or HD huggers) that he'd win in 450s instantly.
Cripes, I just thought of the holeshots 'Little' (Sacha) might pull on 450, when he gets on one.............
I cannot see why he would move up for -25 when he most likely wont win this years MX2 title. Go at MX2 again and win it, then move to USA like they have planned.
Yeah it was Monster invite only for the first time this year, which basically meant it was a second team tower.
I’m happy to see that Valkenswaard is doing some European and Dutch races again this year, hopefully they got the GP back there in a few years as well.

Maybe I can get to a race there, along with some riding at the nearby BMX track, in a few years, after I've got Both my new knees.
Though, the recently RH new one, is utter Crap, and I've got to get it 'upgraded' - my Ortho was / is a lying, untrustworthy , lazy piece of S**t that installed junk only suitable for inactive 'old' people. I had to walk out of his surgery after I saw what he'd put in me - I came very, Very bloody close to assaulting the C**t ! I waited years for the very best joints, to only be lied to by a bloke seemingly only interested in money, who seems to have forgotten his pledge to "Do No Harm".
Yep there is some movement there again, hopefully they can keep it going for the upcoming years!
Actually the promotor/organizer for Valkenswaard is also involved in the GP in Arnhem.
Tbh i really like the track in Arnhem for the GP, as in the racing it produces. Obviously Valkenswaard alway was great, but in terms of races i think Arnhem is a good track for the calendar. But for the fans at the track the access and viewing was way better in Valkenswaard.
If it wasn't for the sand, Arnhem would be the same as any parking lot track. Valkenswaard or Oss were way better venues.
I disagree. I have been to Valkenswaard twice, Oss once and Arnhem twice also. In my opinion, Valkenswaard was best for spectating but the track didn’t offer the best racing (although this could have been because it was much colder/wetter and softer being in March).
Arnhem has the best racing but you can only see one corner at a time of you don’t pay the extra 10 euros to be in the stands. However only watching one corner will still leave you amazed with how they ride so fast on such a rough/technical track. I watched 2 moto’s at the same corner (after the rollers) and I could have watched many more. Watching them go through that corner was something else with how technical it was. My opinion Arnhem has the the best racing with the track being so technical.
Oss then sits exactly in the middle between these two tracks in terms of spectating and racing.
Overall, I prefer Arnhem. The racing was incredible and watching Jeffrey blast around that track is something I will never forget.

I've been going to Valkenswaard since 1996-ish, and I've never seen a boring race, not even when it was snowing or a mudfest.
If you only can see one corner like you said, then how can it be a good track (spectator wise)? Even if the racing is good, it's still a poor track. And to charge the people an extra 10 euro for some stands that are not even meant for VIP's, is just a disgrace. That's like admitting "hey, we now you can't see shit here but we want you to pay extra on top of the 100 euro you already paid to enter the venue". And that's not counting the costs for camping or catering they made aswell.
I hope their contract won't get extended after next season.
