I agree… in the 2016 primary, I voted for Cruz. I told people I though Trump was a buffoon.

I held my nose and voted for him in the general election, because, well, Hillary.

After seeing how he managed the country, I’m convinced he’s been the best president in my lifetime. I still think he’s a buffoon, but he’s the buffoon our country needs.

You got it up until the last sentence.

Here's the truth that people that are all wadded up in these elections don't like hearing. The president DOES NOT run the country. You and I do. And everybody else on this web site and all across the country.. We don't have a king or a dictator. I have never, in my 71 trips around the sun, let any president run my life. Unless, of course, you are in the military. Then he runs your whole life.

People don't like hearing that in an election year. It deflates the shit out of all the Rah Rah Rah. Should be deflated in my opinion.

I guess I think there is a difference between running the country and running my life.
Of course, no president has ever ran my life, either. But Trump sure made things better than they are now. But he never tried to run any of our lives.
The Dems on the other hand want to limit our freedoms, even telling us we have to let our kids pick their gender. Want to give our tax dollars to illegal immigrants, and a whole slew of other things.
They will try to run your life.

Not going to get into the weeds here. But yes, the democrats are worse than the republicans in just about every way.

I will remind you though that the biggest economic calamity in 50 years had nothing to do with who was president. It was governors that shut down the country. republicans and democrats.  No president has that power.

My contention is that many voters blame the president for whatever happens with the economy and the vast majority of the time, they have little or nothing to do with it.

BTW, I was not singling you out. Your post, which was thoughtful, prompted me to ejaculate my fucking worthless opinion into the conversation. Which, I will go back to, keeping  to myself.

I think we agree more than disagree by far, which I can’t say about some of the others!

And I didn't feel singled out at all!

Thanks.

"But the Nova Corps have engaged!"

“None of that will matter once we reach the surface.

(None of Trump’s or anyone else’s effort matters. Harris has the entire country at her disposal - DOJ, WH, SCOTUS, State Judges in swing states (Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin), US Military, and most of the Republicans. She may not even need to do extra election ballots, or use Dominion machines to add votes. I’m guessing she will get some charges on Trump and get him thrown out before the election even begins. She has the judges and the resources to do it.

No Republican will ever be president again.

I hear ya for sure. I was born and raised around post production, and I am a 31 yr card carrying member of the Editors Guild, so I have seen the boom, and now the slow burn towards the bottom. A good chunk of friends have given up, which in a way makes it easier for some of us to keep working, but it's still evolving into a non-viable way to make a consistent living for a good chunk of I.A.T.S.E. members.

If I get ten more productive years out of this business I'd be surprised. Even though times are good now, at 50 years old I kinda want to branch out into something I can do outside of CA and my industry. Shit, maybe I'll hit up Scotty Adkins moto mechanic school, or dust off the Class A and go drive again. 😇

I just think the between the lighting and the vantage point of the camera, there would be no way that crowd would show up in the reflection.

But as always, there’s a good chance I’m wrong.

I would speculate that the crowd was either paid actors or AI, though.

Edit:

Avid would probably know more than anyone, just couldn’t tell if he was serious or not in his post.

It just looks a little fake. Plus I’ve never seen that many people to show up to any presidential airplane, Trump included.

(But Biden did get the most votes of any president in history lol)

And so begins another week.

Wonder how many issues she'll flip flop on this week, claim to now have a plan for, (after being in power for almost four years now)

or outright steal from her opponent's platform ???

Funny enough we are doing a crowd fill sequence in one of our episodes and I've seen first hand the time it would take to do something on this scale as clean as this is, and it's not quick or easy. You have scaling, lighting, and parallax going on which AI has trouble doing clean enough to not notice issues.

There is zero chance this is ai content as this was published in real time as it was happening.

Thanks,

I would rather see employers paying the workers more and eliminate tips altogether. Especially now, with all of the “tipping pressure” that’s put on us to tip places that don’t even actually serve you.

When they turn the tablet around the default is usually 22% or so.

If they would abolish the IRS and implement the Fair Tax we would be much better off.
