I was a Josh fan until I saw that, total bullshit move. He clearly saw him and hit him in the head with his bike on purpose.

I have to agree. even before the crash, RV looked to be off the whole day. His riding looked sloppy and he looked like he was forcing things.

That's probably true, but how does that put Grant into RV?

Pit Row
Is there a video of that?
Think about how that jump face is, tight tight transition at the bottom to a near vertical face, from the angle you're looking at it, it's the transition in the jump face that makes it seem like he's gunning it, not to mention that that angle distorts your view to estimate his time and distance to impact.
Not saying he did or didn't, I am not forming an opinion at all, but I am saying that I think some are being hasty after seeing it from only that one angle.
I think that maybe on some level, some optical illusion is in play due to the angle of the shot

I'm going to add that the camera slows down the race.

riding over the top of a [b:ynwfe2tv]DOWNED RIDER[/b:ynwfe2tv] should never be an option.

Were you at the race? I was sitting directly across the stadium from that jump. Like I said earlier, there was one main line over that jump. Villopoto fell in it (he also fell on this jump in the heat race). Grant went between bike and rider and Villopoto was still hanging onto the bars.
Grant could have definitely slowed and avoided the collision. If his reaction times aren't good enough to avoid contact in that instance, he shouldn't be racing supercross in the first place. But in reality, Grant simply grabbed a handful of throttle and decided to disregard the well being of a fellow racer.
