I thought this thread was gonna be about iPhones.  My old lady gets tired of me texting her how I'm gonna "Duck your puppy." 🤣

So turning off "predictive text" fixes the wacky changes, but also requires me to know how to spell shit! Fuk

Yeah, I ain't doing that. This isn't the only place I have to type from my phone.

I wonder what the new "Powered By CKEDITOR" in the bottom right of the dialogue box is. Seems like the issue started when that made an appearance.

Who uses a phone for this?

I still have not joined the generation that uses their phone for anything and everything when it comes to the internet.  People watch movies on their goddam phones. WTF?

Sorry, Borg...

I missed that. Holy shit. I used to read all the small print on the undersink chemicals. Most shampoos use some kind of laural sulfate and red dye no. 5. I read on the Drano container that I should never mix it with chlorine bleach. That's all I needed to know when I was 10. My mother was having a big meeting with all the girl scout troupe leaders and I mixed it on the back porch. I had all of them out on the front lawn gasping for air. I told them it was in the Wolf handbook and I was only trying to earn a merit badge.

We try to make our site compatible with every major device, OS, and browser, but it isn't always practical. In this case, Samsung appears to have added their own software on top of the Android OS, and that's causing the problem. There are two solutions we're aware of: Turn off predictive text (instructions here), or replace the Samsung keyboard with Gboard (instructions here). We hope to have a fix that doesn't require these changes, but it's at least a month or two away.

Different subject but related in tech, why on this site do some threads jump to the last post read, while some do not?

Does not seem to matter if I last read a thread 2 minutes ago, or 2 weeks ago, some threads jump to the latest read and other threads do not?

It is a great feature to have, and appreciated when it works, just curious how/why that happens selectively?

Autocorrect has royally fucked my life up.

I'm actually a hardcore republican but autocorrect always ends up changing my words to make me look like a sissy liberal.

Thank you, i turned predictive text off.

I lost my laptops and desk tops in storm and bought a new laptop but set it up and never opened it again. My phone is on the large side s23ultra. I wish laptops had 5g because 5g works faster than the satalite wifi most of the time at the farm. Almost never even use wifi out here and everything works seemless. If its storming i watch the races on it. I have done 99 percent of all my trading on my phone. Bought farm, tractor and Alta with profits all just on my phone. Its a bad ass little computer.  Trade 5 days a week on it.

So "Alerts" are not working now.       I'm not seeing alerts for quoted posts or.....wait for it.... "likes".    I actually use "likes" alerts to find threads I've posted in.      It's too much work to sift through all the content and posts to look to see if someone quoted you.

FFS.....bring this board software into the 21st century.
