f White.....I wonder what happened to that guy? Those Hondas sounded so crisp and throaty . Smile

Goose was saying those factory exhaust pipes were $1000 a piece and Ricky went through quite a few of them! (i think it was in a podcast)

Omg! Forgot about those. They were so hot. If I remember right nobody made a white Honda tank and they were actually painted. Anyone confirm that? Those Honda's ripped too, tons of power for the time. I was always a heavy kid and prob weighed over 220lbs at 14yrs old and my buddies CR125 would still rip even with my fatass on it.

Absolutely stunning. God does that look fun to ride. Pull up to the line for the 250f class on that and they would be scared!

I get that but why would Kawasaki build a full on works bike like that with 100K suspension and works parts like those clamps and god knows what else on and inside the bike to make it a play bike?.....That is a colossal waste of money for a play bike right?

Somewhere I read in an interview with RV that this is one of James old bikes. Mike Fisher thought it would be cool to restore the bike and deck it out for RV as a gift. So RV's Mechanic totally redid the bike and they gave it to him.......

If I had a Vintage Works Bike in all honestly I dont think I would be able to just keep it to look at. I would have to ride it. Vintage KXs are rare on the old motocross scene never mind a real life Works Bike.

I dont think the white ones were painted, but for sure the blue tanked Peak bikes were. They are one of my fav bikes, just beautiful.

I know the year that the tanks were blue they were painted......not sure about the white ones.
A buddy of mine made a replica and pro-circuit ported it and sold him some graphics and told him the tanks were painted and covered with clear # plate material.

I remember Washougal 83 seeing Howerton hit the jump at the bottom of the uphill and fly that thing way above the crowds head.
