Sounds like he was dead last off the start to 4th. Threw down a 1:57 on the last lap to pass from 7th to 4th. Very impressive. If he starts top 5 I think he'll have it just on fitness alone.

Well guys moto 1 of the day was insane. Basically a mud race. I legit stalled it off the gate 😂😂 finished 31st. Fell over few times went off course 2x. Not my best but we’ll keep trying.

Guessing he didn't want to have to ride a 250 against a bunch of 450s especially if the track is deep. As far as I know he is just the trainer, race day help for the team so its not like he is necessarily a paid rider so I doubt Triumph minds him riding a KTM that much.
Are those the 52mm forks?
Doc Bodbar said they had to make a yz 250 with black plastic and graphics for the vet desnations as well.

How the hell does Brown pull a 1:56? Someone make this make sense. Did they go through and bulldoze half the bumps or something? Check out Brown's lap times compared to the 250 Pro Sport moto which was earlier.
Brown putting 51 seconds on Emig, a fellow 125 National Champ, and lapping up to 4th in 50+. Sheesh.
From what ML posted last year, he was gonna do LL's this year and then try to to qualify for a national. He may still be able to qualify for a national...he looked pretty fast out there.
