So like Elaine, I love a BIG salad.  Try to have this five days a week minimum. I truly believe this has also helped me to lose weight. Consists of:

Organic Spinach, Cilantro, carrots, celery, Roma tomates, cucumber, dried cranberries, sunflower seeds or shelled pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, hemp seeds (good plant protein), not shown are, avacodo and brocolli. 

I use extra Virgin Olive oil and Balsamic vinegar from Costco.

I try to get the vegi's from sprouts, but if not Walmart has surprisingly good vegetables at a good price. Wash everything beforehand with a good water spray, vinegar water in a spray bottle and water spray final rinse. 

It might seem like a lot of work but I try to rinse a lot and chop it all up so I could get 3 to 4 days of it without having to do it again.

After a BIG salad, I find myself relatively full and not having to stuff myself with dinner as much.

Even though I love red meat and pork ribs etc I try to grill as much chicken as possible and like somebody else said. Yes, "everything that tastes good is bad for you".

Here's some of the ingredients I get and I just restocked at Walmart with some cilantro and broccoli. I also get the Organic spinach from there. In the jar are the hemp seeds also from Costco, they are very healthy with plant protein.

The spray bottle mix I learned from Jan, 50/50 vinegar and water.

I prefer the shelled pumpkin seeds from Sprouts along with the dried cranberries but they are farther away.  I have a Walmart grocery and Bashas half a block away, so that's where I get the shelled sunflower seeds for convenience.

In the jar are the Hemp seeds also from Costco.

Then drove to my last co that I,m never allowed back on there property. Ridiculous because there’s 30 co.s there. Long story but I said I,m not leaving until I,m paid . I,m out 400k + from co.s. 5 police cruisers showed up with 2 officers in each car.  I really didn’t care about the police being there. I said I,m not leaving until I,m paid . Do not get involved these Eastern European co.s use us as slaves there is 400,00 + claims against them. I also asked r those cameras. They said yes. Are they on . Yes. I made a statement that there slave co.s and when drivers try to get there money there murdered. I had my life threatened many times. when I got to the shop I joking said man I,m lucky to b alive that’s  the most dangerous trk I ever drove. No steering on trk  no I,m not Kidding at rush hr I left . After moving into it 90,s & muggy I had my shirt off. The dusty yard had me covered in dirt . I got done moving and I looked down I couldn’t see if I had nipples I was soo covered in gravel dust. Traffic eventually started moving at 45 mph . The trk took off left I,m steering rt and there’s no steering. On the brakes then it started jerking and locking, etc. I knew the steering box was gone. The steering ended up locking tight. Then no brakes, all shocks blown out and the seat. Ac kept failing in atL or St. Louis the se . 8th grade butch Mexican said turn in the fuel card and key. I said you hv a new fuel card that’s common with 1099,s. And I said oh I,m getting a new trk out there ? She oops she doesn’t identify as a she . Said  new trks r for exp drivers . I said no one here has 2% of my exp. She said turn in the fuel card. I said what your firing me. She said no I did not say that. I said if I don’t hv a fuel card or a key I don’t hv a job here. I hv 2 videos of me saying this women refuses to repair dot violations  , brakes , etc. that I am dot certified by a Captain of the state police at the biggest pipeline co in the world. The video was after her illegal leave the property bs. I made nothing there constantly broke down and if not the loads where shit . Totally disorganized pu and del . I made more money in 1976 as a 9 yr old bailing hay.  I just stopped at that co because I forgot my 80 dollar steering wheel cover. That’s very hard to find. The Bolingbrook cop gave me a copy of a blank paper . He said do you want to sign this stating your never allowed on this property. I said no and it’s a blank page you didn’t put the carbon paper in.  Last del was downtown Chicago with no brakes in the rain.  F ing cab was locked I raised the hood looking for a spare key nothing there. I know the transport industry is going through an upheaval cycle right now, but there has to be someplace looking for experienced drivers that maintains their equipment and pays the drivers.

reading your stories, even driving for swift would have to be an improvement.

As interesting as I find your posts sometimes, it has to get old dealing with that hassle all the time.

I cover both meat and, skin side very lightly with olive oil. Meat side, light garlic salt, thinly sliced garlic cloves ( I use a razor blade), one small square of butter then, cover the piece of salmon with lemon slices and, throw on the grill. I just lay it all out on foil beforehand then make a little baggie (lack of better words)  rolling the ends and, folding the top. It’s simple. Very simple. But, it actually tastes really  good. I’ll add sage to take out done of the fishy flavor if it’s chinook. Coho isn’t as oily/fishy and the meat is a little drier which I like.  We have salmon every Sunday. Thankfully, the season is about to kick off in about two weeks.

I prefer to grill without the skin. 3 ways to accomplish that, buy without skin, cut the skin with a very sharp knife, pour a bit of boiling water on the skin, that will melt the bond and skin lifts right off. Probably one of my favorite regular proteins (Still love a perfect ribeye but they are few and far between these days)

Then drove to my last co that I,m never allowed back on there property. Ridiculous because there’s 30 co.s there. Long story but I said I,m not leaving until I,m paid . I,m out 400k + from co.s. 5 police cruisers showed up with 2 officers in each car.  I really didn’t care about the police being there. I said I,m not leaving until I,m paid . Do not get involved these Eastern European co.s use us as slaves there is 400,00 + claims against them. I also asked r those cameras. They said yes. Are they on . Yes. I made a statement that there slave co.s and when drivers try to get there money there murdered. I had my life threatened many times. when I got to the shop I joking said man I,m lucky to b alive that’s  the most dangerous trk I ever drove. No steering on trk  no I,m not Kidding at rush hr I left . After moving into it 90,s & muggy I had my shirt off. The dusty yard had me covered in dirt . I got done moving and I looked down I couldn’t see if I had nipples I was soo covered in gravel dust. Traffic eventually started moving at 45 mph . The trk took off left I,m steering rt and there’s no steering. On the brakes then it started jerking and locking, etc. I knew the steering box was gone. The steering ended up locking tight. Then no brakes, all shocks blown out and the seat. Ac kept failing in atL or St. Louis the se . 8th grade butch Mexican said turn in the fuel card and key. I said you hv a new fuel card that’s common with 1099,s. And I said oh I,m getting a new trk out there ? She oops she doesn’t identify as a she . Said  new trks r for exp drivers . I said no one here has 2% of my exp. She said turn in the fuel card. I said what your firing me. She said no I did not say that. I said if I don’t hv a fuel card or a key I don’t hv a job here. I hv 2 videos of me saying this women refuses to repair dot violations  , brakes , etc. that I am dot certified by a Captain of the state police at the biggest pipeline co in the world. The video was after her illegal leave the property bs. I made nothing there constantly broke down and if not the loads where shit . Totally disorganized pu and del . I made more money in 1976 as a 9 yr old bailing hay.  I just stopped at that co because I forgot my 80 dollar steering wheel cover. That’s very hard to find. The Bolingbrook cop gave me a copy of a blank paper . He said do you want to sign this stating your never allowed on this property. I said no and it’s a blank page you didn’t put the carbon paper in.  Last del was downtown Chicago with no brakes in the rain.  F ing cab was locked I raised the hood looking for a spare key nothing there. I did see they installed a new steering shaft too. Reviews on indeed from American named drivers said nightmare, clueless, idiots stay away, thieves , junk , etc.  there fake reviews r funny all  kinds of the office staff is soo helpful and friendly, Profeshenal, etc. obviously posted by themselves like 1099,s always do.  Sleep rt next to i55 noisy traffic tonight. Too crazy busy with multiple failures to get fat . Is about the only good thing this yr or last.

I know the transport industry is going through an upheaval cycle right now, but there has to be someplace looking for experienced drivers that maintains their equipment and pays the drivers.

reading your stories, even driving for swift would have to be an improvement.

As interesting as I find your posts sometimes, it has to get old dealing with that hassle all the time.

I would’ve gone back to construction but there was none or a manufacturing easy job. Since 08 it was only good for a short time maybe 18 months. It ended Feb 2021 I still made . 80 but if the co wasn’t organized crime they could never pay that wage. Of course wages kept dropping a lot of .50-. .60 now .30% when rates where high that was 1.60 ave for me but a 32 hr chicken slaughter & a 29 hr unld ruined those lds. Lazy people costing us a lot of money. Kohler the expensive bath room stuff they only pay .50 after 5 yrs .3-.5 more. I hv pals that haul fuel home every night but after taxes there check is not much. I figured out a w2 job vs 1099 the 1099 is better but not by much now.  Quite a bit of the Elog cheat stuff abruptly came to an end.  As a 1099 I get to claim a lot everything I buy I claim as truck related, my days out , etc. In 2016 or 17 a co driver can no longer claim days out. Co drivers get screwed real bad on that 1. It’s crazy expensive out here.  I expected orientation to b completed Fri. It didn’t happen I ran around doing stuff . Like I went to my last co sat morning to get my hard to find & expensive steering wheel cover. My wrist is constantly throbbing since 8-6-23 . The mechanics just starred at me in shock that I was there.  I said you came out to thd trk and rushed me out. I need  my property just be cool & get me the keys. He did I felt something brewing . So I ran way out back got the cover and ran back. The Mexican that handed me the key is around. But there 2 mechanics in a trk   1 that always claimed he didn’t know English . Says big brother is watching you . She is going crazy that your criminal trespassing.  I said Thx for getting thd keys & I,m out it here anyways. She called 5 police cruises on me a few days ago. I didn’t worry about it but I was doing errands in the Bolingbrook area. I,m sure she called the police again. I did see 1 cop at a stop lt I had to sit next to him. I stayed just behind  his door next to him. My 95 white flared out Chevy van Is easy to spot.  It is stressful stuff and I wouldn’t mind getting off thd rd. But I Really don’t like Green Bay . There is 2 manufacturing jobs that pay ok but it takes months to get hired from what I hear. I seriously thought of a local job   I went to the job center I was the only 1 there, see pic. We hv to pay for parking gb for ya. The computer locked up the only woman there actually she disappears a lot. She came ovr & I said see I pointed at bachlers degree for a maintenance mechanic. She said there 9k jobs not filled don’t worry about that. Co.s r hiring people to work now don’t worry about not having a degree. I always said I would never drive a truck for a living  . I ate those words but I tell ya what a strange trip it has been. I did hv a lot of fun with the Eastern Europeans there’s a lot of days that r more strange than a far out movie. The job is a million times harder than a w2 job tho.

Probably one of my favorite regular proteins (Still love a perfect ribeye but they are few and far between these days)
