I wasn't really trying to go there, I was just talking about the contradictory statements that she makes and the fact that she's willing to ignore a clear assassination attempt by the Democrats and just keep going on about how bad Trump and the groups that support him are but will NEVER acknowledge any wrong doing by Biden or the Democrats.  Kinda odd for someone who claims to hate Trump on moral grounds

BUT....to continue to play devil's advocate, where does the Constitution say you have the right to get IVF?

She made a choice to be a lesbian, that is the main obstacle to having a family that she faces, there is a simple and natural solution to that which she chooses not to partake in.

It's also ironic that she claims to want to be "allowed to exist" yet is clearly very, very much pro abortion.

I'm just over here pointing out the holes in the story and trying to understand better.  For the record I am NOT anti abortion or anti IVF.

Also, the quote was from Crusty 1....I expected better out of you ol' timer 😉

The reference to the constitutional is about her personal protections as a citizen(assumed). It’s about the things that the government or its representatives can or can’t do…their responsibilities and even, to some extent…their job descriptions and functions..

It, like God referenced there-in, affords her certain inalienable rights. I’m quite sure the right to have a child is among those rights.

Brother, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: It’s not my place to tell someone who to love or not. I don’t care who anyone is sleeping with…as long as they ain’t dragging our kids into it or assaulting someone.

When I take up the positions that our constitutional rights aren’t negotiable or to be “selectively applied”…? Well, this is one of those places where I…hell, all of us…need to keep our hypocrisy in check and truly stay dedicated to the most true and honest application of all those rights and all those protections…indeed all those freedoms…for all Americans.

As for some church or religious sect wanting to tell the rest of us what we can or can’t utilize as far as readily available and safe IVF medical technology to HAVE A CHILD? Well, guess what I’m gonna tell those religious kooks? As a Judeo-Christian American Heterosexual Male…I’d have no problem telling them to go get a fucking constitutional clue and until then? They can go fuck the sleeves. “No offense”.

So, if this makes me some kinda Pinko-Lesbo-Loving-Commie…? Oh, well. Fuck’em. I guess I’ve been labeled…again. 😂

Are these groups influential to a singular political party? What if I counter argued that Joe Biden has been equally, if not more empowering to the groups of people who hold opposite beliefs these Protastants and Muslims hold? Beliefs that have generational consequences. Just because you align with some of Joe’s ideas more, doesn’t the empowerment of far left policies have an equal and opposite effect on our populace?

The Christian Right supports the right. The Hibbie Liberal Douchebag Left supports the Left. Joe Biden should be empowering to the groups that vote for him. I’m not being sarcastic when I say every generation has consequences.  Every one that has it good is going hand off something shitty and every one that has something shitty is going to work through it because they have no other choice and then hand it off in better shape.

If I’m ever in Virginia, which may be a possibility as my brother lives in Connecticut, I’d be down to visit with you about dirt bikes mostly and maybe some of this other shit. You seem like a very principled person, although your principals differ from mine. I respect your willingness to argue your views against people who most certainly do not agree with them. Cheers 🍻

Responding to a lot of you right now: You try to turn everything I say into an either/or situation. If I say one thing, you think I’m also saying another. Oh so you like apples? Why do you hate oranges?

@TalinH112 are you telling me that all Christians want the things I mentioned, just like all Muslims do?

@LungButter what did the constitution say about 2-strokes and WiFi?

@Chance1216 thats a good question and I’m going to think about it.

Since you have put so much effort into this thread with arguing about anything and everything other than the title, while you have all of our attention, go ahead and tell us all about your moto background.  We might as well hear about that too.  Maybe that will bring some around to understanding how you look at the world, or maybe not.

Apparently SS Director Kim Cheatle showed up at the RNC in Milwaukee tonight and wasn’t answering any questions.

Wonder if she brought an olive branch with her.

I grew up in New England. Dad grew up one of six kids the projects in Hartford where some first hand experiences left him with some strong racial opinions for the rest of his life. Not sure when they moved but he got into motorcycles with his brothers and raced a tiny bit in the 70s at Southwick. Legend has it he was great but they just didn’t have money for that sort of thing. He ended up in a motorcycle-centric gang and got in some trouble with everything from drugs to hiding some murder evidence.

Mom was from Massachusetts and her dad had a small construction company. My dad was a skilled carpenter. Fast forward some years and they were married and my sister and I were born and and we lived in the suburbs and I was into all the non-motor sports.

My dad would occasionally bring home magazines from a Honda dealership or something and make it sound like we were going to get bikes but it was unrealistic. He got big into R/C cars and we did that together for a while.

They inherited some wooded land in Maine from my mom’s dad and we moved when I was 11 or 12. They built a house and before the grass had grown we had… a 1990 Yamaha RT100 (I think), a Kawasaki 125 with dual shocks and a headlight, and some kind of quad. I got obsessed and we ended up with a little trail through the woods and around the house.

The only work my dad could get paid a fraction of what he made in Connecticut. Mom had a job she hated. Money dried up, tension ensued, Dad moved out and back to Connecticut. I went down to visit and he had bought a nearly new CR80 to full-on bribe me to come live with him. From the RT100 I’d been riding it might as well have been a spaceship.

Mom and Dad worked it out and ended up starting their own construction business in Maine. Mom ran the books and kept the train on the tracks. I wasn’t very useful on the job site but did a lot of truck driving through high school and college 😆

Times were good and we did some racing in NESC and a few tracks that popped up in Maine. I had a CR125 for a while, Dad had something like an XR600, my sister sometimes rode the quad, and we always had an XR80 or TTR125 or something around. I never moved past the C class but I loved it.

Around my 2nd or 3rd year of college I had to hang it up for a few reasons. I was an athlete and my coach had been none too impressed about a shoulder injury one summer on my dirt bike. I’d also hit my head a few times and was nervous about that. I had a shiny aluminum framed YZ125 by then that I sold to pay whatever I owed for that semester or year.

I swore I’d have a bike and a truck and a backyard track and all of that but it just never happened. My first job was a looonng way from home and for the next 12-15 years I just bounced all over the place. I’ve lived up and down both U.S. coasts and “lived” in three other  countries for about 6 months each.

I probably don’t need to say out loud that I never fit in at the track. I had friends but there was a lot of conversation that I just didn’t want to be a part of. I still watch all the races. I’ve been to Southwick, Unadilla, High Point, Budds Creek, Hangtown and Washougal nationals. I’ve been to Supercross at Oakland, Indianapolis, Daytona and Foxborough. I love motocross, but make less effort to get to the races today because unfortunately I get the same uncomfortable feeling at them that I knew when I was younger. I am not saying any of you are these people, but Donald Trump attracts a type of person who I just don’t want to be around, and a lot of them have always been at the race track.

TLDR: Dad loved motocross, got me into motocross. Mom and Dad were self-employed blue collar folks. Dad and I loved each other but were very different. He once told me “It’s probably a good thing that you found an office job” 😆 I grew up in the woods and ended up in the city.

Thanks for sharing your back story.

For the record i don't allign with your political  beliefs ( shocking ) but as a Trump supporter  and moto enthusiast  you are welcome by me and dare I say dam near all of us wherever you choose to be  .

Whether it he here, the track or a Trump rally.

Yes im serious.

I ride mainly offroad trails nowadays in a bro group of roughly 20-25 riders that leans pro Trump .   The only female rider is gay and lliterally no one cares. We helped set up her new Sherco and good times had by all.

The media is pusing a division narrative that is 1% as bad as they say it is..

They want us divided not being friends and not having "real talk".

Trump supportors have gay family, friends coworker'  etc. We dont care.

But we do want the kids left alone until 18.

Perhaps a few clowns in the past and your own biases's have made you feel unwelcome when in reality It's not as bad as perceived?

Give it another chance....

I appreciate and respect you sharing your story.  I share LOOnatic’s sentiments about welcoming you wherever you choose to be.  He is 100% correct about the media.  They are nothing more than a tool for the ones who want to “divide and conquer” ALL of us by using our differences to pit us against each other to distract us from paying attention to what they are doing.  Regardless of our differences, we (all of us) are more alike than we are different.  We don’t have to agree on everything but we can all work together on the big stuff we have in common to keep humanity moving forward instead of letting the self appointed so called “elites” use the media to keep us at each other’s throats.  Life is too short and difficult enough as it is.  Those people that keep us pitted against each other have publicly stated numerous times that their goal is to reduce the population of the world from what it is now (around 8.1 billion) to around 500 million.  I’m pretty sure neither you and your family nor me and my family are included in that reduced number.  I said that to say that we have bigger fish to fry.  There’s more important stuff to worry about than arguing over what people do behind closed doors.

Investigators working to determine a motive behind the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump found a message posted to the gaming platform Steam that they believe was authored by the suspect, in which he said that "July 13 will be my premiere, watch as it unfolds," according to three law enforcement sources briefed on the probe.

Investigators also found internet searches for both Trump and President Joe Biden on the phone belonging to Thomas Matthew Crooks, sources familiar with the investigation told ABC News. Crooks, 20, had searched for the dates of Trump's rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, and for those of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, the sources said.

Looks like the "Teflon" Don being close to the shooter's home, he chose him over Joe likely because of logistical reasons.

I don't disagree with any of this, I was more just pointing out holes in the theory/rationale being applied by KBSCI.

Back to the topic at hand....this was clearly a hit put out by the Democrats.  Period.  End of discussion.

There is no reasonable person that could look at everything that happened and is happening now and come to the conclusion that this wasn't on purpose.  The only way you could convince yourself the Democrats didn't do this is if you are a blind follower of all things Democrat.

And here we are....

If you see a helicopter in a tree, do you need confirmation from the FAA that there was a crash?

This is obviously not a real question for you as you stated that you "still believe" he got shot. 🤔

What’s the condition of the helicopter?  Does it show signs of a crash?  Could it have been placed in the tree via a crane?  Are there tread paths around the tree?  Was an accident reported?  Were there any injuries?

I think it's either this or the BlackRock angle.

As questionable as this whole thing has been, I still cannot wrap my head around it being so sloppy and obvious. And for the Democrats, I cannot think of a motive that makes sense, other than "Eliminates Donald Trump" and I don't see how making a martyr out of him helps anyone or anything. The republican party would lose zero voters and likely gain a ton of voters, and the democrats would lose voters who lose faith in either party.

You know I've also looked into Blackrock's financials and it's true, they have made WAY WAY more money under Biden than Trump. They also donate to Democrats 2:1 more than Republicans. But if Blackrock=The Democratic Party, that harkens back to my point that Corporate Oligarchy is the real problem here. Not left vs. right. I think other people here have made a decent case for financial gain as motive that makes way more sense to me than political gain.

Maybe it's naive but I want to believe the lone crazed gunman angle, because if it's a conspiracy and it's Blackrock or either political party, I would have no hope for our country moving forward, and the hope I currently have is hanging on by a thread.  Like the audacity to use someone they put in a commercial is so crazy to me. It would mean that whoever orchestrated this believes the American people will never come together.  That the American people will never rise up against the people who would benefit. That they can sow unrest and cause terror and we will just implode against each other. It isn't that I don't want to believe that the people in power on either side could do this, it's that I don't want to believe what that implies about American society as a whole.

Good post, Jason.

who thinks as I do that this won't be the last attempt? DJT is supposed to be dead today. I think they find another "radical", arm him, and he won't miss. I hate that I typed that sentence out. So scary.

That is pathetic...Who-living or dead-would have to be running against Trump for you to not want that person to be president more than anything (more than Trump) to the point you'd vote for Trump?

Why do you hate trump that bad?  I honestly don't get it...

This poor thread has jumped the shark.

Happens every time anyone who's been instructed to hate Trump enters the fray.

Completely overlooking the prosperity under the first term.

Unable to come to terms with the fact that any high profile, high powered, individual has asshole tendencies.

Nobody reaching that level of political status can be considered anything but hard nosed, arrogant, and an asshole.

We just need one who projects those traits outward to our enemies.

Not inward towards the citizens of this country.

I'm fucking sick of having a president who vilifies half the voters.

And uses his position for the enrichment of himself and his family.

Trump's not in it for our money.

Or peddle his influence to outsiders for his benefit.

I saw someone state earlier, some bullshit about how posters here in non moto wouldn't have the same sympathy for biden, if he'd been clipped.

You're wrong about that, boy.

Even if it's a president who doesn't give a flying rat's ass about the families of people killed by his illegal immigrants.

Ask the family members of Jocelyn Nangaray if they heard from biden.

Or any of the others suffering losses at the hands of his open border policy.

He's a heartless wretch of a human being.

And I didn't get my marching orders from any "morning show" to form that opinion of him.

But I damn sure wish him no harm.

And that's for the good of the nation as a whole.

It's kind of like when we were kids on the playground. The group picks 2 captains. They flip a coin for first pick of their team from the group. You get first pick for basketball team, Johnny's 6ft already at 10 years old, sinks every shot he takes and you don't pick him for your team because he's was mean to his girlfriend. WTF?

All the holes lined up that day. An incompetant security team and a lone wolf madman.

Never liked that asshole Jack Black.    Unfunny...a horrible actor and a shitty ass "musician" to boot.

Joy Reid....in a sane world, this hag would be committed to a mental institution....not paid money to spew her venom.

What did Jack Black do?  I thought it was his homie that made the comment and then Jack Black cancelled the tour and basically said that there would be no more Tenacious D for the foreseeable future because he didn't want to work with that guy anymore?

Am I wrong here or is your outrage wrong?

Made a joke? You mean "revealed his thoughts in public". Show you who the real "party of HATE" is

I will never vote for Donald Trump. There is no one he could run against that would change that. Trump is an asshole, and I'm pretty sure even his supporters agree with that, but my reasons are less about him and more about the groups that he empowers. We've seen examples over the last 8 years, but I'll give you one that's top of mind for me right now:

Last month the largest Protestant group in America voted to ban IVF. They also voted on whether or not women should be allowed to be pastors. They've taken down abortion and have banning birth control and divorce on their agenda. They want child marriages. They want women to be prisoners to their husbands. They are powerful, they are persistent, and they so believe that Donald Trump is the man who can help make their dreams come true, that they ignore every reason they should be embarrassed to call him their savior. I personally cannot give an inch in helping these people get their way.

Makes sense.

You realize you even "exist" because you weren't aborted. What is "keeping you from existing" now?
