Not raced, but I did get to ride for the first time since my hand surgery in November. Took the KX250 to a local indoor track and had a blast!

I had so much fun that I am going back this Friday to ride again. The KX250 was a blast, ask me now and the RMZ450 is for sale.

I had carpal tunnel surgery in December on my left hand. While riding I experienced zero pain or numbness, I feel like a new man. The KX250 was perfect for the indoor track. I lugged it around in 3rd gear most of the time. All the guys I ride with went back to smokers so 2008 should be a fun year. My goal is to get advanced to the "B" Class this year.

How far away from Cleveland is NEMX? I've heard about it, but I've been riding at RamJam, west of Cleveland.

1-1-1/2 hours depending on what side of Cleveland you are on. I like RamJam too but it is a 2 hour drive and NEMX is 45 minutes.

West side, about 15 miles from downtown. So RamJam is 20-25 minutes for me. What town is NEMX in?

Senior Amateur at Budds Creek. Low turnout so lots of free track, and practice for the upcoming LL qualifier.
Got second in the first moto and knew the guy I had to beat for moto two (#46 Kawasaki). In the second moto I was running second right behind him when he bailed on the downhill triple (by the old start) and I saw him bouncing down the hill. Rode hard as I could and had the lead. On the last lap an RMZ450 comes out of nowhere and passes me. His 3-1 beat out my 2-2 so I got second overall.
I ran 30+ also and got fourth in the first moto. Then in moto two I jumped the gate and got stuck in the gate for about 30 seconds. Good times.

I think I was the only two-stroke in my class, but I saw more out there than last year running other classes. Daniel Corbin was absolutely hauling on a YZ125.

NEMX is in Andover, take I-90 to route 7 (the last exit in Ohio) and head south for 18 miles. NEMX is on the right.

We raced at MillCreek MX this past weekend. There was 44 riders alone in the C class. Had bike troubles all weekend, so did not even finish a moto. But had fun hanging out and watching all the racing.

The race at MillCreek was the final race of Th Big Chill race with the North/South Shootout. I am not sure if all the results have been posted yet or not. But you can check out JMR Powersports or MillCreek MX for the results. The results will probably be posted for each individual division. Hey Rocrac you coming to MillCreek in April for the Loretta Qualifier?

Free trip to the Daytona 500. Stayed in campground right behind Hooters across from the track. Had pit and garage passes for Saturday, all day. Great trip...

My kid has been running track 5 days a week and teaching snowboarding on weekends and hasn't ridden since Nov. I think our days of chasing the big races may be done.

No racing for me. I learned how not to fall over in 2' deep mud ruts at bremen! One of these weekends I am going to gather courage to try jumping the back double before the start of the mx section. Everyone makes it look so easy!

We headed to Millcreek also for son to race, the Mcwilliams and crew really do an awesome job. Looking forward to spending more time there when they get the training facility up and running.

I am not sure when the training facility is suppose to be up and running. However, I do believe it is suppose to be soon. They are still working out all the details I believe right now. You are right the McWilliams do a great job of putting on a race. We have enjoyed racing and working with them for years. We can't wait for another great year with the SCCS racing.

Rocrac, I understand about being sick of the cold. However, it has not been that cold here. But it has rained just about every weekend. So we have not gotten to ride as often as we would like. Hopefully, we will get to start riding on the weekends more soon.

It's been cold around Virginia too. We got a little break over this weekend, although when I rode at Tomahawk on Saturday it was "survival riding" in six inches of mud. Nothing like that first splash of muddy water down your pants and frozen fingers trying to hold on to muddy grips.
