I'm really liking Chase's approach to these races since Jett has been out. One of his biggest weaknesses over the past couple seasons has been a lack of race strategy. Seems like he's figured out how to deal with Hunter - ride around 85% for the first few laps (or enough to stay in striking distance) and lay the hammer down during the last third of the moto.
Looks like AP has backed it down. Maybe trying to save some for moto 2?
Hole shot replay, “you can see my brother going off of the track’. Stew is awesome!!!
I am legit bummed that Jett isn't out there because I feel like it would be a lot like eli and chase in 22, just great racing and gapping everyone week after week.

It’s easy to have a good strategy when you know that you are the fastest guy on track.
What strategy should he use when Jett is on track and is faster than Chase when he is healthy?
So.. we've gone from Jett Jett Jett, to Hunter Hunter Hunter, to Chase Chase Chase...🤯
Get a decent enough start to put pressure on him and see if he grounds himself. Worked well this year.
Over/Under "he doesn't look tired" 6 🤓
It would be the same as always with Jett and Chase. Chase couldn't beat an injured Jett (Except for Southwick moto 2) and Jett has won every overall after Hangtown, what do you think would have changed?
450 Moto 1
That's a good point - I don't know what the best strategy would be for Jett. Honestly, I think the only way Sexton can beat Jett is holeshotting, which he can't seem to do.
Needs energy for flag waving 🙃
I think chase is at a better place now than he's been at any point since Jett has been on 450 and there's finally been at least a hint of adversity for Jett.
The 27 finished 8th at 90 seconds behind the leader. What a torrid pace at the front.
I hear deer riding is also quite physical.
When they filmed/talked to Chase before the start it was all smiles and happy thoughts since he know that it’s his title to loose now.
He said earlier that he was bummed that Jett is out but come on, Jett being out must be the best feeling ever for Chase based on how relaxed he looks now…
What did you expect? When one rider is winning they will talk about him. Can’t wait for the ”we are getting Chase shoved down our throats” threads later this fall..
They really had Wil chasing down that marchbanks story. I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the next update as the title contenders were going at it
Pit Row
Hunter looked smoked, jelly legged
Chase looked as if the moto hasn't even started yet
I got a ton of downvotes for saying Plessinger would be a good pick for team USA rather than JCoop at the start of the year, maybe people will change their mind now. Sexton Deegan and Pless would be a super solid team.
With Jett out it's a lot of pressure off but he knows the knobheads will want an asterisk. I don't believe in that crap.
Good ride for Craig, I’ve talked shit in the past, cool to see him get 7th 👍🏼👍🏼
I think part of the apprehension for AP being on Team USA is the fact that he's already gone twice and didn't perform up to standard either time. On the other hand, J Coop arguably was the main reason we won in 2022.
Solid team for sure I’d take either but pless seems to never pass anyone up front
Yes I expected it but still was unprepared 😌
Cooper is massively overrated IMO. Shocking how few 250 wins he actually has. 40+ seconds back and got absolutely dropped in that moto. I cannot figure out why the moto media keeps talking about him like he is at the level of the top top guys. Then you add in his bland personality and it all disappears for me.
Yaa it trips me out that he only has 4 national overall wins or something like that, you’d think he has 20 and just never got the title 😂😂😂
Casey Cochran is definitely over achieving in one department.
I got lambasted for saying I didn't expect DF14 to be any better on his new ride and wondering how long before he started blaming the bike (based on past and recent events).
They're all just guesses and others disagree with them, so don't lose any sleep over it.
Just remember - no one ever gets better, no one ever gets worse and there are no new riders coming up to challenge the current winners, so whoever is winning now will continue to do so until they decide to retire. It's one of the Vital Ten Commandments.
Bye bye
