I guess the gamble worked out for Cole and his parents. I know it's been talked about but this is the first press release I've seen. Seems like a good kid. I hope he does well.
He played his first hand well just getting here and opening the door to a MX career.. But I think this signing IS the gamble. Hereโs to hoping it does work out! He seems like a humble, hard-working kid. It was fun to watch him mixing it up with Gavin Towers. And it will be interesting to see how those two careers compare in the future.
The landscape of American MX/SX is shaping up to be filled with riders from Australia, France, Spain, New Zealand, Sweden, Germany, Estonia, Canada, Japan, South Africa and the United Kingdom. I don't ever remember there being so many. Come one come all ๐

Good to hear! He looked good when I saw him ride. Maybe he can beat Jett?
Roger better start digging into his pockets, Bobby scooping these kids up left and right from team pumpkin.
Awesome news.
Bobby is starting to come across as the Satan of Moto. "In a current contract? Nah, I can get you outta that, come ride for me, they'll get over it. We are the real winners here, wanna be like us???" And that bastard will drop you like a burned up match as soon as he set his sights on the next hot prospect, as in a few months, or unless he gets a title. No loyalty at all..... Thor must have a warehouse now at the farm for as many souls that have passed through his team in the last few years.
Fast AM??? I am your future. Jerm and I see someone better next month? You have our best wishes for a bright future......elsewhere. Win, or be a problem for someone else.
I would love to know more about the star finances compared to other teams. Is Yamaha just giving them that much more of a budget to work with? I know some of these guys aren't getting huge salaries but they're still in for the parts and labor for every guy they have. Just seems odd that one manufacturer would be willing to invest that much more into their race team than others. Maybe KTM group is closer than I realize if you consider it one big manufacturer?
So happy for this, hope he can thrive in the Star environment.
Another kid that daniel blair has let slip away from his team. Deegan bennick now this kid.
I don't think blair is the one who decides how much money ktm is willing to offer them.
It is my understanding the extra funding comes from Monster. If Star sees a rider they want they go to Monster for approval and funding. With all due respect to Kawi, Monster and Yamaha have a global partnership of sorts and Star is Monster's flagship team in the US.
GasGas and Husky are downsizing next year and KTM is saving a spot for a Coenen, team Pierer is full.
I think Blair is in a tough spot working with an amateur team for a manufacturer that doesn't give a shit about its amateur team.
They should just let Put develop all the young talent and then bring them over. All of ktm Sx/mx titles here in lites have been by Pit developing them. The amateur team here seems like they canโt develop anyone
