How much do you think that tire weighs?

That's the best thing they could come up with to mark the first corner?

That was my first thought when I first rode there.

I showed this video to a non-moto friend, and her first reaction was: "why is there a giant tire on the racetrack??? that man should have words with the manager."

It looks like there is someting in the middle of the tire, like a water line or something. That's the only reasonable explanation for it to be there. Otherwise, that was my thought too, hell of an object to smash into!

Heal up Swap!!!

budds creek had a gigantic white tire in the first turn before they changed it last year. I've hit it many of times... Never with my head though.

Wow. I thought I felt the ground shake in Texas on Sunday.

I couldn't tell why he went down. Looked really awkward like a seize or something.

Glad he's alright.

Not too bright putting stuff like that around the track, especially intentionally. C'mon...use a little common sense.

Didn't Milestone ranch get a safety award in one of the magazine's....Seems not to smart to have something like that at the end of a start....but thats just me

I hear ya Todd, that tire knocked me off my bike a few times! That thing didn't move an inch when you hit it.
Feel better Swap. Being editor of a moto mag is a full contact proposition.

Someone let us know if and when they move that tire . Get well soon Swap .

I don't think they have mx guys running the place. The guy who ran the place when they opened is no longer there. So the last time I was there it was just a young guy who didn't really have any experience in moto.

That sucks! Get well Swap, I've hit one of those exact tires before. In Pennsylvania at Flying dutchmen. I only broke my middle finger though. Heal up quick Swap!
