In a bit of a jam. My 2020 kawi 450 won't start. It has a brand new engine. My buddy that I bought it from offered to take a look at it. I remember when he rode it, it needed to stay on the charger till he went out to ride. I bought a new battery for it. Then we find out the wire from the solenoid to the starter was fucked up by the exhaust. So that was replaced and still won't start. I remember it was able to bump start. Any input?
*I bought it knowing it had a starting issue, cause I'm not afraid to fix things
Is the spark plug spark plugging?
As far as I know it should. He put a brand new engine in a year or so before I bought it
check and see if your getting any spark from the spark plug. if no spark its a electrical issue. if your getting spark and it still wont fire up it could be a fuel issue.
If it is not turning over, check the fuse
