After watching the US Open this year, I'd like to get Jeff Emig out of the booth and on the Zuk! He would be in the top 10. Offer him a few million, he might bite (with a nice insurance policy from Lloyds of London). Huffman could also do it.
Dowd line up at the gate!
They arent going to put someone going for a lites title on a 450, definitely not. Even when the series goes on a break, they won't do it, its too much of a risk to have him out there on a bike in a class he hasn't raced in before while hes in the title hunt for a different class already.
Last i heard of Hamblin was that he was racing over in Europe, not sure if he is still there? Wish someone would give us an update, seems like the guy just dropped off the face of the earth as far as his media exposure goes.

Dungey's title hopes aren't looking so good right now. That punk from NJ is flying.

Lawrence is flying! The fact is though, Dungey is in the hunt still so they won't take any risks with him, would be interesting to see though!
Yeaah thats what i was saying. He's one of the only people i could think of off th top of my head, unless he is still riding with CAS Honda.
Finished 9th in the LCQ
#586 Dennis J Ewing Bonsall, CA Suzuki RM-Z450
He was a little over 19 seconds from making the main without the factory setup
Now that I look at it, there was only 1 other Suzuki (DV12) in the main, looks like they could use some additional riders in the big show...
8 weeks. See you in the outdoors.

The problem with that is, and im not saying this is the case, but Dennis may not have quite proven himself as yet, and a factory is going to want to give that ride to someone that will definitely put them in the main every night, and probably even more so, finish in the top 10. It would probably do them more harm to hire someone that doesn't make the main, than to not have a rider on that bike at all, i could picture the general public who think they know mx (but really don't) saying "Suzuki's are crap, they didnt even make the main tonight". Now once again, this is not to say that Dennis wouldn't make the mains, he may very well be capable of making them every night, but does Roger know that for sure? It is a risk, if you can see what i mean. It would be a lot easier for them to just find a seasoned rider who for some reason doesn't have a supercross deal this year and give it to them.
You mean Sean Hamblin? Yeh we mentioned that earlier. I think so too, but am not sure if he is in Europe still or what his deal might be.
They should give the bike to Jeff. Duh. Isn't he riding his own off the rack Honda right now?
