Should have been a black flag. Slowing down a waiting to interfere with race results is totally different then racing foward and aggressive passing.
All I know is the that Anderson's a wanker. I had Hunter for 4th for my RM Fantasy top 5 and thanks to Anderson that got destroyed.

You wanna know why we don’t get air time on ESPN or cbs anymore? Because this sport is fucking soft. You can see where he locked bars with Hunter as his front end started sliding. Ja just helped him out. These tracks are slot car tracks,no passing and when you do there is contact and everyone freaks the fuck out because it’s a Lawerence brother. The tracks suck,they all do the same rythms,even the the 250s do the same as the 450s. They mess up in the middle they just grab a handful and triple out. Racing is not fun to watch anymore period.

Maybe I'm soft but I have a problem with guys getting angry, slowing down and taking frontrunners out while getting lapped. Anderson and Webb had a race going on and Hunter wasn't part of it. Next time someone gets mad over some tweet and takes a championship contender out from a lap down? Deliberately ruining leaders race while you are a lapper should result in such a harsh penalty, so even guys who are out of the race or championship would not consider it. Maybe a 5 or 10 race ban, don't get me wrong I want to see Hunter race but this cant be just a DQ or fine. Its like a fighter is not happy with his opponent or decision and sucer punches his opponent after the fight is over, you get a remach and get your revenge next time when you stand in the ring with the guy.

You think this sport as a whole is in a good spot? Look at attendance in salt lake. I’ve been watching moto since I can I can remember. I rode and raced in the hay days off the mid to late 90s. It usually takes me 30 mins to watch a night of racing because it’s that bad. First time I’ve ever done that. Somthing needs to be done to make it fun to watch again. The heat race with Levi and Rj was good. No optional lines,just the same rythms and just hope someone makes a mistake.
If the AMA black flagged Reed in 2015 A2 for bumping Canard while on the same lap, then this retaliation move should have definitely resulted in a black flag as well with Hunter being a lap down. You don't have to agree with the call, or you can call it the worst AMA call in history, but the point is they need to be consistent and not show favoritism to certain riders. Rules and penalties are supposed to be enforced consistently, no matter how bad you think they are.
With that said, I'm still waiting to see the pass that deserved the fine from Anderson. Because that pass posted above is nothing near anything that level. Hunter took himself out by staying in it, he should have checked up.
It looks to me like Jett got himself too mentally involved with this incident during the race. He looked back to focus on Anderson and made a mistake while doing so. Moving forward, I could see Jett trying to get involved for payback after something like this, and that's playing with fire. Imagine if this cat and mouse game continues, Anderson takes one of them down again, and Jett or Hunter gets injured?? Not a good idea.
Are you fine if they take a contender out if they are on the same lap? The punishment for the act should be the same no matter what lap they are on.
And it should not matter if it is a contender or not, all riders on the track are worth the same, should be treated the same and get a punishment the same way.
The problem is that we have a couple of riders that mange to ride them self in to a probation almost every season (JB, JA and Friece) that clearly have something missing in their race craft.
We have had two ”lapped rider incidents” what i know of? Bogle on Barcia and now Hunter on Ando.
Think about WHY it’s just Barcia and Anderson that another rider finally had enough of, SHOULD they be allowed to ride the way they do that the other riders finally have to take the matter in their own hands?.

This is normal for JA. He’s done it to Roczen, Barcia, Reed, Seely …. The AMA has offered very little deterrent, so the field should know, it’s allowed. Deal with it or not.
Some guys choose to ride that way, others don’t. Normal SX.
