Sounds like he's looking at his options, maybe going back to star isn't a rock solid option.

It was an April fool’s joke that Vurb put out, which started circulating again and for some reason people think it’s true. It’s not.

What is his move dependent on?  Getting RJ up to the 450s?  Seems like the sooner they bring him over the better, if his end goal is to make a career here.

Tom Vialle and Marvin Musquin did just fine moving over when they aged out of MX2. Kay will likely come earlier than that but the guy can mature and get some more experience before being tossed to the wolves here in Supercross.

If you goal is to come the USA and win SX and MX championships, what the point of waiting, he's going to get tossed to the wolves at some point.  Did Vialle really do much better than the other rookies?  Not in SX, and besides southwick didn't do a whole lot in outdoors either.  However, he is doing well this year.  So what helped him do well this year, experience here in the US or his GP experience?  Bring De Wolf over...

Well the point in waiting is that silly thing they call a contract....

That's what I asked ML what his move was dependent on, when is his contract up?

I’m pretty sure it was mentioned earlier in this thread that his GP Husky contract runs through ‘25.

In his latest video, Justin Starling said he's shutting down his team, and that he'll race six or seven outdoor races. He also said that he signed with a team for 2025 and that he'll be on a different manufacturer.

Are you guys hearing anything about TLD not being around next year? I’ve heard from a few different people of the rumor that Troy has sold off a lot of his business and won’t have a team in 2025. I haven’t seen anything about it online, just from people at the races.

This post is scary😰 love the tld team

Troy sold of a portion of his business a few years ago to help it grow. He retains 100% of the team, it is not going away.

Towers potentially going to Europe. Not sure if that’s for the Benistant fill-in or not.

KTM group has to push someone of his caliber to stay in the GP's. I think he would make a next step on the 450, the few races he did on one he did really well. With the Coenen brothers aiming to go to the USA, Benistant as well.. they have to do something

Everything indicates that Futures winner Cole Davies will be DiFrancisco's partner

I don't know I came here to find out. Seems like an American is going over

Towers will be replaced, Star apparently didn't want to keep him on the team

I've read the topic and there are a few things I want to talk about because I know 99% sure that what has been said is wrong.

1. Mitch Payton had the first choice on Dylan Ferrandis, I interviewed him at the Supercross of Lille back in the day about that, he got a "three year deal" one to two years in Europe and if Mitch Payton wanted him one year in America.

2. When Suzuki stepped back in Europe, Jeremy Debize (Wasserman Europe) and Lucas Mirtle went to both KTM Group (USA) and Pro Circuit. This to get Hunter into the pro ranks from day 1 and Jett after one or two years. This didn't worked out and back than the third party Geico made something work for Hunter his last season in Europe and signed Jett too for when he came over to the USA.

3. There is a lot of fuzz about the "Red Tornado" Kay De Wolf, but I'm not completely sure if Husqvarna pays De Wolf his salary for 100% or that a part of his wage comes from Kay Hennekes (the man behind Nestaan). Also I'm pretty sure that Kay will stay till the end of 2025 in the WC.

4. The whispering from "Troy back out" is getting louder and louder. We see another change in his back office now Frank Latham getting team manager, someone with a real KTM Group label cap on. From what I've heard is that the team goes back in-house but TLD Clothing stays onboard as sponsor for at least one year together with the other big sponsors. What the reason for this is, I've no clue, really don't, I can only guess that KTM is maybe a little annoyed with the fact that they missed out on Jorge Prado due to the "TLD Label" on the GasGas team. But that is only a long shot, because like I say: I've no clue about this.

5. Dunno if this is already mentioned but GateDrop.com mentioned that Gavin Towers is heading out to Europe to try his hand at the EMX250. With Official Yamaha EMX250 rider Janis Reisulis out for the season he will probably be his replacement rider. But I'm a little concert for the kid because his first race will be Teutschenthall. Coming from perfect groomed American training grounds going to a chew-up rocky track could be a bit to much, if everything goes well Kegums will be his second EMX250 round. A little sand track but nothing he can't handle if he wants to be professional soon.

Lewis mentioned the Towers thing last week on our MXGP pod. It was in the works before Bennistant's injury, after they moved Bonacorsi up

If Christian Craig goes to HEP Suzuki I bet he has better results than he did and more speed than the husky.

I don’t understand why people are mad towers isn’t getting a star ride. He didn’t perform like they wanted or expected so why waste more time and money on the kid. Sorry but you don’t perform you should get a deal.

Towers will find out how high level is in MX2 even if he gets Factory Yamaha. I dont see that will work out for him even in emx250.

Gavin Towers is 20 years old (or at least turning 20 this year). I would've been shocked if Star would've actually signed him to a pro deal.

I doubt he is any better than Jack Chambers and he is 15th in the points at the moment in MX2.

Justin Cooper to Husky? Hope it is long term with a lot of money, that team has been a career killer since Osborne left.
