If you could go back in time and put a GoPro on any rider for any race, which would you pick?

Another vote for Hannah/Howerton Saddleback 1981

***2nd choice would be mounted whomever was behind Jimmy Weinert the longest during the Oakland supercross in '79 when he was running a paddle.

MXDN 2003, Zolder Belgium. CR-250 mounted Ricky Carmichael runs down and gaps Stefan Everts, whose on a big bore thumper! RC was on rails that day. Pretty much ended the argument of who was the GOAT of MX at the time.  RC left no doubt with his performance that day.

I’m really surprised that nobody has mentioned Dungey’s race at 2011 Southwick when he started a lap down and rode the race of his life in the rain to end up on the podium. That was the only time that he straight up hung it out the entire moto. Such great race

Dave Thorpe's last to first ride at the 1985 British GP at Farleigh Castle.

I agree on this one. Google it. It's out there. Home crowed had him going for sure.

Thanks, and back to you. (Don't know why, but it was the first thing that came to mind, and I just couldn't stop imagining...)

Shane Trittler at LA Coliseum (94?).  Just for proof of flipping and landing on Huffman’s bike.

My first win in 125C class at Maplehurst in 1991..Followed by the Doug Henry launch..

I raced Maplehurst in the 80's. Loved that track!  Sadly last I heard it's just a subdivision now.

When Webb ran over that Monster chick.

Lmao was that a staged matador?

The first cam that comes to mind is MC.  Who did he run into the back of? Preston?

Herlings did a Go Pro at McGrath’s ranch:

That should be protected footage.

Thanks for sharing, I didn’t like what he did where Joey went down but I didn’t realize the competition he was up against and a challenging track.  I guess it is winner take all in Vegas.  I went to that stadium one year but it was kind of mellow as just a Monster Cup instead of a heated finale like it should be.  All those guys were hauling and risking it all to win it all.  I wish i made it to the indoor one instead of San Boyd with racing off view and kind of windy bussed from the strip.
