I think Eli’s smile on the podium said it all. He rode incredible, is super satisfied with his ride. There is just not much you can do about the 18 on a night like that. Those two stood out like the alphas they are on that track. Contrasting to Eli losing at Daytona and being pissed and fixated on being too late to change rhythm (winner’s mentality).

Tonight he set the standard on that track, and just straight up got beat by some who was just that little bit better. If he feels the yellows in the sand lost the race for him, I don’t think he’d be that happy. Was cool to see Jett see what they were doing, take his time and get to work. That double, triple before the whoops was next nevel, first laps were phenomenal.

Watching the post race press conference you can tell that both Eli and Webb know what they are up against.

No smacktalk from Webb just two veterans pretty humble in their seats.

Eli is riding great right now. I think Jett is the only guy riding better. Starting with the triple crown, he's been nailing his starts. He had some issues at Gillette losing the rear several times. He actually had a good jump in the main and went from 3rd to around 10th and he lost the rear in the start corner.

I don't see him winning as sending a message. These others guys all know he's got them covered. No message needed

Got lucky 3 times in the main. First when Kenny went out so he didn’t have to get around him, when he pulled out that case in the rhythm section and Eli getting held up by the lappers. But good for him finally winning a race again…

If Kenny and Sexton don't crash out chances are Jett's points gap is now 9 points instead of 5. The one that got lucky was Webb

All I witnessed was the same ol’ Jett with his head down and pushing thru just a few racers (went from 2nd to 3rd to 1st in 10 laps) on his way to the front after what was, for him, just a decent start.

When he started laying down consistent 50 second laps mid-race…? He was on his way “out” aka “Checking Out”. He’s going just a little bit “next level” at times and on tracks where other racers are saying,”Hell, no. I’m not going after him like that.”

Note: prior to Kenny’s shock failure…or whatever it was…there was an opportunity for this race to turn out a bit differently; but, this is Supercross…errrr…SuperMotocross and shit happens.

Am I wrong or is Kenny still the only guy to pass Jett in a 450 main? He did it again last night

Couple of thing I noticed about Jett's message. The first is he had SEVERAL "Oh Shit" moments throughout the day. Anybody that thinks he is just hanging back and not taking huge chances does not know WTF they are looking at.

Second, and the lap times indicate, according to Eli himself the race was a tale of two Tomacs. He knew Jett was coming and got tight.

One more thing. Was not the same Cooper Webb that showed up last week when he was on fire.

Coop on the podium said he was glad to get out healthy after last year where he crashed and it was on his mind. He got hurt in his heat race and went to the hospital instead of the final race. That ended his '23 title chase. We bringing the BIG stick to Philly!

He ate in 8 seconds through traffic on Webb last weekend, now when they were side by side the first lap Webb lost 15 seconds.

This is the speed advantage Jett has had the whole season over Webb so can we please stop pretend that Webb has anything for Jett in race speed?.

Tonight the fans got what they wanted. Eli, Ken, Jett and Webb up in front the first lap and how did it end?.

And we all know that Ken would not have been a factor the whole moto. He had started to loose tow of Eli and Jett had caught up to him. Had he not blew his shock he would probably have faded and Webb would have moved him out of his way with 1-2 laps to go as we have seen so many times before.

Being the fastest doesn’t always win races and championships. Nothing wrong with cheering for the other guy for the sake of a good race and entertainment.

It’s fun to watch Jett and Eli’s contrasting styles. Jett rolling through turns and smooth on the throttle while Eli is wide open clutching it like a 125. Jett was phenomenal in the sand and the only guy I saw just as good was Vialle.

This isn’t amateur racing… yellow is caution and that is it. Can’t jump on medic flag or pass.

People can cheer on what ever rider they want, but it still wont change facts.

I just think it’s funny when people talk about Webbs mind games etc now when this championship comes to an end, but Webb knows that he has to hope for misstakes from Jett because there is no way for Webb to beat him straight up in speed.

I get it that the media tries to create excitement and drama around this but come on…

Webb actually said that last night in the post race conference - his only hope was both the leaders crashing.

Yeah but Webb's a shark and he smells blood in the water I thought? He was going to pressure Jett into mistakes and use his mind games. I guess you can't do that 15sec back

How about a 5 second penalty for that. Oops, Jett still wins. The yellow flag is a caution flag not a hold your position flag and Eli had plenty of time to catch Jett. What happened there?

The last sentence is exactly why I cheer for basically everyone but jett, they bring the good racing, he just passes people at Mach 10 and checks out. I also agree with you on your first sentence, Jett has moments because of that, everyone does.

Coop isn't always the fastest but is the craftiest rider on the track. Remember, Chase ran him down and might have got him with 1 more lap. He's really good at taking advantage of a brain fart or someone hits a kicker wrong or whatever. When Jett is on his game about all the others can do is watch. When he's off, he gets gobbled up.

Exactly.

After the first 2 laps he went into cruise mode, the rest of the race he was just going through the motions.

Because Jett is faster than everyone else, constantly and consistently.  He also has a skill set no one else possesses.  Perhaps if you actually watched him ride, rather than feed your strange vendetta against him, you would notice this.

Was sitting back in third.

2-3 corners after Kenny went out, he was right up on Tomac's rear fender.

Then into the lead, and gapped him.

My three favorite riders finished on the podium.

One is taking speed, and skill, to the next level.

The other two know it.
