I’m not going to assume Israel’s ulterior motives like some of us have: I’ll go with the known goal of their desire to eliminate IRGC leadership/commanders and making the point, to the Iranians, that they’re not safe…no matter where they’re at.
Let’s take a moment to re-establish the seemingly forgotten facts:
1. Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis are ALL Iranian Proxies doing Iran’s dirty work KILLING ISRAELIS.
2. This means they are directly culpable in the October 7th Attacks.
3. Iran runs their mouths, FUNDS the proxies and then complains when others deliver retribution to their actions and threats.
4. Iran is operating from several other countries via direct involvement and said proxies.
5. Israel is done with this shit. It was “all quiet on the western front” until the atrocities of October 7th. Now it’s time to make changes and eliminate the threat.
6. Jordan, Saudi Arabia and others in the region are not onboard with Iran and are pissed that Iran has ruined the progress that was taking place in the region.
7. Biden is trying to have to both ways: acting like he supports Israel while also attempting to not upset the terror-supporters in his own party…like Tlaib, Omar…the Squad…etc. That’s backfiring amazingly well. Nice!
Let’s recall…again…it was quiet over there until The Hamas Attacks on Israeli Civilians on October 7th.
Welcome to “Fuck Around And Find Out” in the real world.
Tehran is fucked.
General agreement on some of your points but I'll pick 2 that I don't agree with.
1. It was all quiet until October 7th.
Close to 1500 rockets were fired into Israel from Gaza in April and May of 2023. Also thousands more through all of 2022.
So, no. Not all quiet.
2. Iran is directly culpable for Oct 7 because they fund Hamas.
That also means that the US is directly culpable for the killing of the hospital workers and all of the civilian deaths in Gaza because we fund Israel. So Iran would be justified in bombing our embassy in Israel because we fund Israel which bombed the Iranian embassy? No. Israel did that on their own. Just as Hamas jumped the fences on Oct 7 when Israel let their guard down. If Israel retaliates it will be obvious that they want a war with Iran. Meaning they want us to go to war in Iran.
I agree that Iran is not particularly popular with several other Arab nations but they are with China and Russia. If Tehran is fucked, it depends on who does the fucking. If Israel wants a war with Iran, go for it but leave the US out of it unless you want to also deal with China and Russia. I seriously doubt that Israel wants to go it alone against Iran. What are they going to do? Invade? Take over Iran? Not a chance without us. Israel has always prevailed in local wars because they were defending their own land against invaders.

Here we are again with the classic....welcome to Bidens America.
After they DID after Joe saying DON'T, what is going to happen? Joe backed himself into a corner with one word.
That’s a well thought out post borg . And I like your take .
By my math this will be the 4th war the US is “helping”
So is Putin to blame for all of them? Or will people finally wake up and realize NATO is a strong arm game from the US?
Maybe a little from column A, but a lot from column B
OK, this needs to be read like we’re siting around shooting the shit and having a beer and we give each-other the leeway of knowin’ that…well, again, we’re just 2 dudes shootin’ the shit…
I should have defined that “diplomatically” things were quiet and the ‘22 - ‘23 rocket attacks were virtually “business as usual” and hadn’t really deterred the “2 state” progress. My bad…and a very valid point on your part.
As for making equivalence between our continued support of Israel’s independence and sovereignty as a direct comparison to the Iran-Hamas-Hezbollah-Houthi Terrorist Network and their actions over these last several months…? Well, I’m not getting that comparo…at all.
“If Israel retaliates…”…? As in retaliating AFTER Iran threw 300 hundred Drones and Missiles at the Israeli Civilian Populous…DIRECTLY from Iran…and as it turns out…other Nations and proxies?
Three HUNDRED armed Ballistic Missiles and Drones. Think about that…and all action required to defeat them…prevent them from striking Israel.
In all seriousness, what -exactly- are we gonna clearly and soberly call “an act of war”?
Proportional Response went out the window on October 7th. Sadly,”Welcome to The New Normal”. Israel has every right under openly acknowledged international conventions and known historic reckonings of what an “actual” act of war is to bring down some serious fucking scorched earth on Iran.
THREE HUNDRED DRONES AND BALLISTIC MISSILES. Damn.
That’s an insane move on Iran’s part. They are literally out of their fucking minds.
Imagine is someone pulled that shit on us…?
It seems to me that…well, there’s a lot that appears to be lost in all of our back-n-forth we’re going thru here.
Then I’m reminded…where are we at in all this when we realize that the crazy leadership in Iran wants and is currently developing NUKES?!
As it is, most of us still aren’t taking it all in and truly realizing the “total asset requirement” that was utilized to defend Israel in these last 48 hours…
Our Missile Cruisers and Destroyers…Carriers and aircraft…submarines (tho, scant if any info is out there; but, we’ve got subs that shoot shit out of the sky and perform other surprisingly important missions)…other air and space assets.
British air and sea assets.
French air and sea assets.
So, with all due consideration: How the fuck is this not an act of war?
(Sips beer and contemplates)
Seems biden is stating that iran launched the attacks on "miltary sites".
🤣😂🤣
Who's he trying to convince of that bullshit ???
And also read where a large percentage of iran's missles failed to launch, or fell far short of the Israeli border.
😁
Yes, a few of them took out…
Jordan (WTF?!)
"Should the Israeli regime make another mistake, Iran's response will be considerably more severe," the Iranian mission to the United Nations said, warning the U.S. to "stay away". However, it also said Iran now "deemed the matter concluded".
We will have to see what Israel does next. They have been informed that we will not engage on their behalf if they escalate with Iran. My guess is they won't. Their recent reductions in troop strength in Gaza is probably meant to gain favor among other Arab states for the upcoming talks in Egypt. I have been curious as to what Israel's longer term plans for Gaza are. Not sure if they even know. One thing is fairly certain and that is there will be no 2 state solution. Israel is done with that bullshit and I don't blame them. The Palestinians had their shot at getting along with Israel and I doubt that there will be a second chance.
Israel will make a statement that because they were able to shoot everything down they don't need to retaliate for this event if it's over. Israel is held to a much different standard. Other countries, use the money for terror and you'll get billions, maybe even in cash in the middle of the night.
Interesting if true, Biden green lighted Iran to attack Israel if it's within certain limits.
From the Jerusalem Post
"Iran informed Turkey in advance of its planned operation against Israel, a Turkish diplomatic source told Reuters on Sunday, adding that Washington had conveyed to Tehran via Ankara that any action it took had to be "within certain limits."
Turkey, which has denounced Israel for its campaign on Gaza, said earlier on Sunday that it did not want a further escalation of tensions in the region.
The Turkish source, speaking on condition of anonymity, said Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan had spoken to both his US Iranian counterparts in the past week to discuss the planned Iranian operation, adding Ankara had been made aware of possible developments.
Earlier this week, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken spoke to Fidan to make clear that escalation in the Middle East was not in anyone's interest.
"Iran informed us in advance of what would happen. Possible developments also came up during the meeting with Blinken, and they (the US) conveyed to Iran through us that this reaction must be within certain limits," the source said."
The whole thing seems weird. Iran launches attack, and then basically says “we’re even”. I really hope that’s the case.
Pit Row
An article I read about this questioned the source, and Turkey's motives behind the report.
I don't.
I think it goes back to what I said before.
biden's complete ineptitude at foriegn policymaking, that's led to the poweder keg there.
And pandering for votes here in the pockets of antisemitic hate growing out of control in this country.
What a fucked up mess this administration has created.
Not a Biden fan at all, but damn, if it fits your narrative, you will believe anything.
I'm not sure what the point of the Iranian "attack" was anyway. They flew their shitty drones for 9 hours, slowly making their way across 2 countries, with plenty of warning, just to be easily shot down? Was it to deplete resources? Did it do any damage? The only thing it did was cost us a bunch of money in missiles. I'm sure we'll figure out the purpose in-time. Probably to draw Israel/US into war, I guess.
And who profited from our millions going up in smoke?
Since you think you know things, tell me, because I've often wondered. When an ostrich sticks it head in the sand to ignore the obvious things going on around it, can it tell if it's head is in actual sand vs a giant pile of donkey shit?
TM
Our military contractors that supply all everyone? Just a guess. Who's going to buy all new stuff to replace the used shit?
Yes.
Next question.
I don't know anymore. Politicians? MIC? Iran? Israel?
Then why are their heads always in the donkey shit?
After a massive failure by iran, and seeing how the US, and the arab states stood fully behind Israel in defending against their chinese fireworks display, gotta wonder what bullshit lies are being told to the iranian people ??
Most don't support the regime as it is.
Post a reply to: Looks like we’re gonna shoot down some Iranians…soon…
