"I don't think I want to ride anymore"

Dad should have said. "If you don't, you're no longer interesting to me or anyone"

What a narcissist. James actually thinks hes worth a fuckin dime without his bike. IMHO Newsflash, not much is separating him from the truck-washing-dude without his bike. Possibly, the guy washing the trucks is a humble man who's content with the life god gave him. Get over yourself, dude.

I think it's great that James has been succesful enough to employ alot of people from the community. Big james is top shelf material and anyone that wants to talk smack about him can blow it out your own ass. I wished they would show more of the cars the kid is collecting, looks like he's got alot of older muscle cars and i love muscle cars.

I liked bubba world, not many riders let the cameras in, neat to see from more of insiders perspective, even if it is TV. Interesting to contrast the families like in the moto and bubba. As for the women. well come on. Bubba has been moto for so long its not a far fetched idea to think that someone needs some time off. He has been all about it for almost 2 decades, I know many of us here think we may be hard core into moto but a pros life (and pro am before that, and serious am before that) is SOOOO much more comitment than thinking about moto everyday and racing at the local track.
Interested to see the rest of the shows.

I thought the show was a little lame and could have been pieced together better, but then again I'm not in the age group the show is marketed to. I'll watch the next one to see how it pan's out.

Lenny, what is your take on Bubba World. I thought it was pretty good how they showed
the family together a lot. I wasn't impressed with the girls and party thing at the end, but
I guess that was to spice things up for future show. One thing I was suprised about in the show was all the free advertising for Kawasaki, are they a title sponsor?
The show was shot last year...meaning that Malcolm would have still been on Kawis which explains all the Kawi hats and what not.

is this a reality show or is it scripted?

as a moto fan I thought it was pretty entertaining. I wonder what somebody who doesn't follow MX/SX and has no idea who James is would think of the show?

I always wondered what BL's hardon for James was . . . I just learned that he met James in person once and James thanked him for having his back on the internet.

At that moment Big Lens love for James eclipsed his love for motocross . . .

James should for sure be sending Lenny some swag on a regular basis for all the work he puts in

I thought the show was pretty good. It let's me dream what life could have been like if I was better on a bike and trained. lol.

I know one thing for sure...Big James did good. He probably pushed Bubba when he needed it, yet didn't force him to do too much. From dirt poor to this...AWESOME!

I always jump back and forth between liking him and not. After his DMXS show and this show, I like him again! So what if he wanted a break last year...it's not how I would do it, but I've never been in Bubba's shoes and dealt with all he has to deal with.

I sure hope Bubba races the outdoors this year. Watching him ride on rough tracks is magic, no matter what any of us think about him!

Do you really wonder? common, from the little argue between mom and dad, Big James pretending to be mad for his mule to the I dont wanna race scene, it`s all scripted, and poorly played.

Now, wich "reality" show isn`t nowadays?

I enjoyed it. I thought the scripted part was kinda funny since we motocrossers know what's up, but I figure the producer was just trying to reenact that moment.

I look forward to watching pages and pages of shit-talking with future eppisodes.

It was meh. Parts of it were really cool, basically everything with Malcolm and you felt like you got to know his mother a little bit, who has basically been invisible. And of course James' place is incredible, and any footage of him on a motorcycle is worth watching.

But some parts of it were so contrived it was ridiculous. As if Big James didn't know Bubba wasn't going to run outdoors. As if they would have had the conversation like that. And it seems like they are heading towards making James into some huge skirt-chaser....hmmm what happened to that girl he was supposed to marry....he was still with her last year when I presume this was done? It looks like its headed down some type of Jackass/Temptation Island road, which I think will end up looking pretty stupid.

If they let James truly be himself and give an honest look at his life, I think it will be great. If they look to manufacture drama for the sake of the show, it will be a waste.
