It's called sarcasm. The point I am trying to make is Barcia knows it was his fault so he is sorry. So many here are blaming the whole thing on Jett.
"Let's just put this incident beside us."
I sure as heck don't see the majority blaming Jett. Seems pretty even down the middle....if not leaning more towards Bams fault.
I said the same thing in another thread, and the arm chair experts here said the same thing, people could come into that corner hot and still make it, and I was wrong (for suggesting he may not have made the corner). I watched it again last night, and I am still convinced no quantity of skill or brakes was going to get him through that corner without issue, Jett (inadvertently) helped him make the corner. I am not new to this either, I have been watching this sport since inception, so I am not just some dumbass who would not know better.
Nobody will ever know, but at least two of us agree there is a chance he was about to blow the corner and Jett selecting a bad line for the moment, saved Barcia from his bad line for the moment, they were both choosing poorly for the start of the moto.
We should be thanking them for the entertainment I guess, we have something to discuss for the next two weeks.

I find it funny that it was a bad line by Jett and he showed his lack of experience. If you watch race 2 Eli uses the same line on the 1st lap but his is "race craft" and experience. 100% on Barcia.
Justin Barcia - not known for his self-awareness.
DV reckons Barcia was trying to escape Friese, implying it was because of something Barcia did to Friese when passing him earlier. That is Barcia's style - he tries to take out people when passing so they won't have an opportunity to either pass him back or pay him back.
Not sure, but apparently he understood the situation. Haha.
Sarcasm
Exactly.
Watched the replay of the event this morning.
And the t-bone a few times.
You look at the tyre tracks in that turn under Jett's bike.
Every single one in line with his motorcycle.
Every single one in line with bike's exiting that turn.
Jett was clear of all traffic inside of him when he pivoted.
Until...
BAM motherfucking BAM.
Who was in the deliberate act of trying to go way off line in order to block vince.
from four years ago "Have you ever passed anyone clean without touching someone's bike?" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hIOxRgSklwE
answer is still no but still like Barcia for some reason.
Yeah ... he's a wrecking ball but me too .
What do you mean by "blow the corner" ?
100% might confuse the goggle people as if Barcia doesn’t see well to accidentally Bam Bam.
That's way to many words in that statement. Should have just posted:
Man, I fu@ked up bad. I didn't mean to do it, I'm sorry.
I don't believe anyone thinks he tried to take Jett out. Pick whatever reason you want for what went down. He fu@cked up. end of story. At the speed he was carrying, even if Jett didn't cut down as fast, there still would have been carnage due to his speed.
Unfortunate racing incident.
I don't know how this corner was different than any other, other than the weird turn-track style inner corner track marker.
Rubbing is racing. Your all such a bunch of pussies. It is no wonder most of the original actual seat time participant's of this place are no longer here. Its fucking pathetic.
I did not say the majority is blaming Jett. I said, "so many here are blaming Jett". According to the poll here, a full 64% are blaming Jett anywhere from 40% to 100% at fault. I feel Barcia is 100% percent at fault and he knows it. That is why he gave an apology which is very good of him.
Pit Row
is yal serious right now 😂😂
Yeah Barcia is a bad ass but he rides like an idiot. Seriously how many people has he punted ?
Hard to slow down from mach 5 to 0 when your hanging onto a gargantuan hog like he is. Something about mass x speed or some shit.
When was the last time you've passed somebody clean?
I like Justin, he's a lot of fun & few if any try harder.
But if he hadn't become a professional dirt bike racer, he'd surely have been a professional 'spear' fisherman.
He's a clown. He's a fast clown but he's a clown and there's no accountability ever for his actions wouldn't be on my payroll.
This statement reminds me of times when Barcia knocks someone down and looks back putting his hand up in the air. Same, same.
Kind of sad that a legend has gone soft....
Bingo!
Oh man, that is some bullshit.
Apologizing to Jett, releasing a statement, and owning it doesn't show accountability? I guess we have different definitions of the word.
From Webster's New World College Dictionary:
Accountability
noun
The state of being accountable; liability to be called on to render an account; accountableness; responsible for; answerable for.
accountability from AMA or his boss is what I meant. It's not his first time for this, and it won't be his last
