I guess we will have to wait and see who has more brains as if who wins a supercross is the quantification for determining someones intelligence. Its an opinion based on some facts, some common sense, and the all important belief in our favorite rider, RV2.
I've heard that RD5, JS7, and CR22 fans can be just as zealous at times in making predictions for their favorite. Its all good, because as fans of MX/SX we are enjoying this
year and the drama and circumstance that has made up this season.
They`re fans, you`re his uncle and you come out as little disrespectfull to competition. Some might think it`s RV camp`s opinion.

I think there are too many races left for RV to sweep with out a mistake.
x2...... there are 7 races left and RD has a 17 point lead ....even if RV can win all of them from here on out and RD gets second which isn't too far fetched RV can take it by 4 points.....thats not a very big margin of error for either rider and with (hopefully) Reed, Stewart and even Grant coming back it's a complete tossup. I guess if I had to pick a winner it would be RV, he seems to be more consistent as the season goes on but one bad race can seal it for either rider ....I don't see any other rider winning the c'ship than those two.....still RD has the advantage at this point

Adding '' let the best man win'' at the end of the sentence does not make sentence unbiased and neutral

I enjoy your posts uncle and I think you give Dungey and others plenty of credit.
My three favorite riders are Dungey, Villipoto and Canard. I'm loving this season!

Safe money would of course be on Dungey, thats a hell of cushion. On the other hand, everyone loves an underdog/comeback story. If RV is consistent and RD isn't, that's all it'll take to catch up. I'm rooting for RV but if RD takes it, that'd be great too. A rookie hasn't won since what, 1993?

Dude, STFU... seriously.

Of course the guy is going to pull for his Nephew! I think it's pretty cool when family members come on and stick up for their "team".

And the things I've read from Uncle have been pretty damn fair all things considered. The guy even puts up with BL... fer christsakes!

I have no problem calling people out on their BS, no matter who they are, just think you're totally reaching on this one... my opinion!

I have the utmost respect for the abilities of all the riders, able to do something on a motorcycle that I could only dream of doing. I have a favorite rider and I like some riders
more than others for whatever reason. I give my opinion about some of the things that
some riders do that I may not like. My opinion is my own and does not come from "RV's
Camp." If I have offended you or your guy in some way than I apologize. And lastly, GO
RV2!!!!

@ bobby m:

hey bobby how could you dislike villo because of d bags like the alessis. i just saw a video of tony saying "ryan villopoto never beat us as an amateur" excuse me us tony? when were you at the track racing villo along your kids?

and finally i hope RV takes it because my brother is so in love of dungey that i just have to pull for rv to have some cool benchracing and also because rv was cool enough to wear a free jlaw t shirt after the hangtown stuff. that shows good sportmanship

Unfortunately ''my guy'' doesn`t race in a same series as yours. He is only 12 years old, but who knows, maybe in season 2016( keeping fingers crossed)

I don't think he's ever tried to claim he's not biased. Of course he is.

But, he is respectful of the competition. Doesn't throw hate at anyone that challenges #2.

this is kind of a stupid tangent to the thread.

RV doesn't think, he just rides.

Dungey thinks, and it can rattle him at times.

I say RV2 pulls it out, although I would like to see RD5 get it.

First off, I think Uncle is very respectful and expresses his opinions pretty well.

Now to the question at hand; I wouldn't be surprised if either one of them won. I could see Villomoto going on a tear, and the Dungeon Master having a few lackluster finishes. But I could also see Cryan Ryan keeping his head on straight and securing nothing but firsts and seconds from here on out, and locking up the SX title in his rookie year. Both scenarios wouldn't surprise me in the least.

Ryan Villmoto's quest to win the title just got a lot harder. Both Ryan's are too close in speed and whoever gets the hole shot is tough to beat

Dungey seems to do better on the harder packed tracks too where as Villopoto seems to do better in the softer stuff. Track conditions can play a big role but out front on a clear track their speed is very evenly matched.

as far as whos gonna win, RV has a steep hill to climb, but as we have seen with this series so far ,carnage could be right around the corner for any and all riders. I say good luck to both and hopefully all of the top guys stay uninjured for the outdoor mx series.

Not saying Dungey has this Championship won already - Just saying the odds of Villomoto winning it just got worse.

absolutely anything can happen.

Dungey has both Decoster and RC in his corner for advice and to keep him focused. So far it has been a very impressive rookie season.

Thanks guys. Saturday night was a bummer for Ryan V. , but the only thing that has changed is he can't win out, he needs some help from RD. Congrats to RD as he ran
a strong race from start to finish, and showed he can handle the pressure. Trey Canard
is going to be a player next year and is making his stock go up each an every race. Jacksonville next, go RV2.

Last year at this point in the Championship JS7 was down 11 points to CR22 and came
back to win the SX Championship. Who do you think will win the 2010 SX Championship? This is not about who is your favorite rider, but if you had to put a bet down in Vegas right now, who would it be?
Exactly correct sir! Tell RV to keep pounding away and make him earn it. It's been a great so far.

R.V. is the "Lone Gun" left to carry the Flag for the Factory-Green guys...all by himself...as far as their Championship hopes go.

R.D. is a Rookie in the "Bigs".

Canard is a "Short-Timer".

Milsaps turned it on a lil' late.

Yet, these are the guys that are making this season so great.

May the Best Man win!

And may they all stay healthy for the Nat's!

x2.

Canard is so fun to watch, and easy to root for. He has the speed to be right there if he stays healthy once he moves up to become a "full-timer"

Jlaw creeping back in to the top 10 as well, I'm hoping he gets back to his 2008 racing self come summer 2010.

J-LAW??? never
Infact, When Dungey wins the championship, the AMA should force that tool to apologize to RD on bended knee. RD earned this championship, and J-Law has become a backpacker who gets lapped. 2008 is over.

Actually, J-Law...might...jus' might be learnin' how to STFU and Race.

I, too, hope that he finds the "Strength" to settle into a VERY SERIOUS approach to the Out-Doors and, like so many others (listening Milsaps? Alessi? Grant? Hell...Reed? Stewart?)...I hope he KICKS ASS at the NATIONALS!

Imagine...

6, 7...hell...8 ...9 guys runnin' up-front for the WIN!?

Bring it...please...Bring it!

He's 17 points down, but that can be made up in one main event, IMO.

As soon as Reed and James return the top 1-4 spots can all be flipped flopped and RV will be more aggressive and close the points gap.

I wouldn't be surprised to see RD have a bad night and lose 10+ points in one event.
just like James Stewart not being SX champion last year huh? everybody put $100 on villo asap cuz skot kaslich just said he gonna win and he knows motorcross and he knows these things!!1
