Wild Daytona, going to be interesting to see which way the series goes from here as I believe it’s going to between Jett, Tomac, sexton and Webb to the end now and I can’t wait to see which way this goes. But between Jetts goggles being yanked off his head and people crossing the track whilst a race is still going on is an absolute joke! People’s lack of respect and Entitlement these days is just nuts, I wouldn’t be surprised if that lower viewing area changes next year or as something as stupid as what happened could make the ama push everyone back to the grandstands and get rid of the lower area all together to limit that happening again! Only takes one person to get flattened by a rider when it isn’t even there fault and get hurt to cause a shit show! Abit of a rant but blows my mind how little awareness and respect people have these days. Welcome to bloody 2024!

That’s all Florida has turned into the last few years it feels like. Go drive on the roads, or to the grocery store, or really anywhere and it’s all entitlement. Our local harescramble series was the fastest growing AMA series in 2020 I believe, and the crowd there has changed drastically since then and not for the better in my opinion.
I partially blame the lack of consequence for peoples actions these days.
Agreed 100%. There is a completely broken legal system that has caused a huge amount of the population to think they can do whatever TF they want, whenever TF they want, no matter what because they only get a slap on the hand at the very most.
Covid broke everyone’s brains. The world is just different now, sadly.

Last night a daytona, the crowd was sort of weird, up in nose bleed sec 442, all good, just people enjoying the racing, but when it was over, being herded to exit we came in contact with more the a few groups of drank ass idiots. Just thier sole purpose was to be loud, belligerent and rude, surrounded by quite a few families with kids. Sure these families were not amused. Guess this is considered growing the sport. And yes im aware daytona always gets a mixed crowd with bike week and all, but these guys were clowns, guess perfect for a feld event. Last rant....racing futures on a beat track, props to those young guys.
Social media and governments raising kids due parents working full time to survive.
It's as if it's by design
Yeah and that comes from the Gov and Mainstream Media, riots and burning down buildings "mostly peaceful protests" at the same time the media was scaring everyone to death with that other thing.
Cashless bail, no accountability in Washinton, bankers out of control, open boarders, pledge and religion out of schools...
Do I need to go further?
Two "other things" actually.
IMO, the up against the wall burnouts need to be eliminated.
It makes for a mosh pit scenario.
And we saw the results.
Stick to just riding along the fence slapping hands with the crowd.
I noticed a difference just watching on TV and was like WOW HOW STUPID when I saw fans running across the track with racers racing to the finish. Then what was most apparent was the person with the air horn during the podium interviews. Seemed like he waited until they started an interview and then laid on the horn. Dick move.
Funny how nobody there could say "hey horn guy, shut the fuck up a minute"...
Staff, security or public.
Usually there would be a red neck or 2 with common sense to set these guys straight.
Hopefully the security fuk for Feld will be as worried about horns as he was about someone revving their bike. Might be tough for them to get past the metal detectors...
I remember the first SX at the LA Coliseum, the crowd would jump on the track & within minutes have the track striped of any sponsor banners, the triangle track marker banners extra.
Reminded me of videos of sporting events in the 70s.
Let’s stop a Dayton tradition because someone took some goggles? How do you know he didn’t ask Jett didn’t seem to mind?
shiuld UFC fighters stop the walk in to fights because a few hats were taken of heads on the way in?

I don't think I would want to have been that guy. The fighter's team members didn't look too happy.
I imagine the guy that took the goggles did not have much to fear from the Donut Bois.
Same post I put in the other thread:
"Grow the sport" they said.
Well...there you go. That is the future of your sport.
We quit going to SX races back in 2000 due to degenerate, drunk, asshole fans. Didn't return to stadiums until about 2015 (the inaugural Petco race). Still saw some of the same behavior, but the staff seemed to handle it. Last race I attended was 2020 Petco before the BS flu shut down. Nothing but people playing with their phones and socializing while racing was going on.
FF to today. You couldn't pay me to attend in person.
Pit Row
I would place the blame for goggle theft solely on open borders and loose immigration policy
I think goggle theft is directly correlated to Roosevelt's strong anti trust policies.
Watching the race now and yeah the horn blower guy is annoying. With all the cell phones out there it would be funny to post his face for all to make fun of. Same with the goggle guy. Wonder if they go on sites like Vital and read the negative reaction.
Savages...
MXoN I think 2016 the fans were running across the track on the finish line landing when only 3 guys had finished the race. Insane. I don’t get it.
Then you're a moran...
These two wet-panty assclowns are probably on this board this very minute.
These men are just a little too grown to be this excited
I remember when the media had people called “journalists” that actually researched subjects and looked into the history…the truth…of things and people…
Remember?
Just like Michael’s excellent discovery, “background” and story on the new “fork kit” in Chase’s Factory KTM…actual…Journalism!
A Moto-Journalist…? NO WAY!
