All I know is lots of the New guy's come in and they think there is more money and support then there really is they don't like it and bounce around but in my opinion they would do well just to stay put , fulfill their contract and change teams after the season is over.

At this point Regal is already getting branded with the minibike parent and can't get along with the team deal. That will hurt him in the long run.

Exactly. When its my sons turn I would be stoked if a team was just interested in him enough to give him the opportunity to be able to race a SX

bla bla bla. lets hope he gets released and see him back on a 450 at some sx's for now. :D

p.s. lets look at the main picture, riding for a team or begging to get released and do it on your own? hmmm... think that says enough.

Bike not up to par, maybe. No pay, does not make sence he is not going to get paid on his own. Why does the team manager keep switching jobs? He has worked at and for the best.

Sometimes marriages work out. Sometimes they don't.

There's only one poster in this thread qualified to speak to the facts. Everything else is just bla, bla, bla.

Vali Team Mgr. was released from Kawa after he missed a race last year.
He was at his fathers funeral.

Now that's real class for you.

Kyle Regal has a contract to race for Vali Motorsports. This means he signed a legal contract saying he will show up to events and race motorcycles supplied by the team he signed with. If he doesn't do this, he's saying he doesn't care about a legal binding contract and that he's word means nothing. All teams hear and see this. They will know that Kyle might do the same to them and will choose not to be business with him when the time comes.

The story that is out there is that Kyle signed a contract with Vali. John Mitchel would be his mechanic and Vali Motorsports would build his motorcycle. After a couple months Kyle didn't want John as his mechanic, plus didn't want Vali to build his motorcycle and wanted his father to be take the roll as his mechanic and had his own motor and suspension person to build the motorcycle. He showed up at the Yamaha test track a week before the East coast Supercross series started, testing with his father and his personal motor / suspension person.

Now his not happy with them?

PC built the motors.

Mitch says Kyle needs to be on a 450 due to his size.

I know nothing about Regal's deal, but the Valli bikes have looked pretty darn good to me.

Bah.. if Regal runs top 5 indoors and out the rest of this season no one will remember Valli come contract time. If he flops he'll fade into the bottomless pit this sport has. What's done is done, I say let Regal decide his fate with his results. Gotta say I hope he pulls it off though, I do like the kid.

why would he sign a contract with a team knowing that he is going to ride a 250F if that is the case? Maybe sometimes saying no may be the better decision?

When I was on that team the riders and employees were threatened on a weekly basis about keeping their jobs. This is the best thing for Kyle. I can't wait to see him on a big bike in sx! I believe he will shock a lot of people like he did in the outdoors last year.
