Who gives a fuck 😂
Only you can decide.
How much was the deposit? Maybe you can flip the bike when it delivers....
Like old_can-am_rider said, only you can decide whether it was the right decision or not.
With that said, going with a 2 stroke is never a bad decision!

Just $100. I don't think you can flip these anymore. They have been delivering for awhile.
Man....the message from Stark reeks of desperation.
One can never go wrong with a 2-smoker.
I absolutely do not know
That's called a "customer retention attempt".
Any business that is worth a shit will try to save a customer that is cancelling.
But hey, if you want to tell us you don't know shit about business while simultaneously taking a dig at Stark...fly at it old man.
I'm sure if you ran a business you'd just let customers walk away without even trying to stop them right? That'd be a great strategy.
125 or 250 ?
Perhaps a little back story on why you're canceling the order might help with your question.
300
To get street cred on Vital....
I put down a deposit a few years back just for the hell of it. Fast forward to now, I don't need 2 bikes. It's either one or the other, combustion or electric. I don't think having one electric bike at the track is feasible (range).
Plus, 2 stokes are more fun
Well I would say that you did perfectly!
Good choice for the 2T
Now you did it.... the Stark fan-bois club will surely send you a scathing rebuke.
You DO need two bikes... Don't kid yourself. Different bikes for different tracks, different moods, different principles, etc. It is why I have a 350 for hilly tracks, and a 125 for when that mood strikes. When someone other than Stark makes a viable e-MX bike, I will buy one of those too.

No doubt you have several different tracks to ride (I am from the same area as you), having variety in your garage and picking a different ride when you want, sure is nice
Thank you for the words of wisdom Master Yoda.
Sad they pulled the "non-refundable" card.
Pit Row
Ask your husband.
Agreed.....it's a hundred bucks. I realize it's not much money these days to most people and was probably stipulated when you signed on.
I wonder what the cancellation numbers are. The REAL numbers, not the JM?? and Beagle numbers.
Wild speculation, let's say 1000 cancelations....$100K. Still not a huge number in the business world.
Already asked yours
Definitely scored maximum points with MXdic, RACING, rosso and Magoober
Whats the otd on these maybe ill order one for 2025-26 and just make intrest free payments
Perhaps Stark is thinking there is a correlation between your cancellation and this:
🍻
If things really do go the electric route, you have decades to mess around with those things.
Grab the two stroke and live the dream man 🤘
I also have a reservation that I should probably just cancel. I reserved the one on the day they were announced but they're still not delivering to CA. I'm not a hater but I also feel like we probably only have a few more years left to really enjoy the IC bikes. I'll make the switch when I'm either forced to via sound/pollution regulations or when I feel like I'm at a severe disadvantage racing.
We are at 11 bikes right now in our stable, you can never have too many.
They're not delivering to moto mecca state of California? Is that right? That makes no sense given the market here.
I did see a Stark on the floor at Fun Bike Center a month or so ago....it was not for sale.
Only You know if it will work for you or not. There is enough info out there that people should know if the runtime will work for them or not at this point. It will work for a lot of people. But not everybody. Ultimately riding should be fun, so whatever bike is the most fun to ride is what You should have.
Have You had a chance to ride one before You decided not to go through with buying it? I would have tried to get a demo ride if possible before canceling if I was on the fence. But that's not going to help with the range . So it sounds like You made the right choice. And You can always change Your mind and buy one if something changes.
I doubt a giant leap in range will happen on the current version. But that 13 or 14% boost in range from a software update is pretty wild. I doubt they will be able to pull much bigger increases . Perhaps some aftermarket tuner will get into the software and make some tunes that are a bit more risky as far as long term battery health. And maybe they could get some more out of it . I was surprised that Stark played it so far on the safe side that they were able to get the increase they did so soon. It will be interesting to see.
