It’s real easy for all you bullies to bash on Deegan, Tomac, Barsha, Freze, etc. while you sit on your couch. Do you even ride? Do you have any idea of the work all these riders put in? Have some respect.
Deegan might have a famous parent, but he’s 18, excited, talented and works his butt off. Nothing wrong with the kid - the problem is you. Jealous losers with no respect for anybody.

I don’t think the issue with Deegan is everyone not having respect for him.
It is the fact that Deegan doesn’t respect anybody except himself, or at least thats what he puts out there in his interviews, if you can call them interviews more like scheduled self promotion.

I have zero issues with deegan. The problem are his fans. Not calling out the OP but I see many “casual” fans talking crazy. Pretty sure if you asked 95% of his die hard fans some basic moto questions they would get them wrong. They’re just delusional..don’t really know what’s going on. Almost as if they just started watching supercross because he turned pro. Truly some weird behavior
But the Deegan disparagement crowd has been going on since he first showed up in the pro ranks. That is just true.
Every fan I've met are just like me,..old, still riding (hanging on) and have been watching SX/MX for 30 - 45 years.
In my own circles of experience, we are all fans of this young man as a racer. He is obviously extremely promising and he has shown to be gritty and getting good results while having just arrived.
And for opinions you may potentially respect,..listen to his professional peers speak about him.
But really it is more about reality than opinion.
Funny how Deegan at 18 is a kid and Jett at 20 is a full gronw mature adult hahaha.

Think it like this, If tomac would have crashed as hard as Forkner and Jett would have won, ghost rided the bike (Until this point all good in my eyes) but then brag how you pressured him into that mistake and then shouting Welcome to the danger zone baby he would get smaaaaaaaaashed so yeah, Deegan is not a kid.

I have no doubt that danger boy will be a multi time champion. His focus is there, his skills are there, his speed is there. But until he begins to act humble and show respect to fellow riders, he won't be respected by the OG race fans. As soon as he learns that his shit stinks too, I believe he will become a fan favorite. I am not a Deegan hater by the way. I really enjoy watching him and I am glad he is a part of this sport. He has some growing to do on the PR side and he'll get there.

We have our favorites but the moto community always supports all of the riders when an injury occurs. Well most do anyways.
