Hey all!
I'm on a solo-backpacking trip until my 90 day non-visa period expires and I thought it would be pretty cool to be able to ride some once-in-a-lifetime tracks and hangout with some interesting mx folks while I'm out here.
I'm 26 and on a broke-actor budget (taking a break from LA since we're on strike), but I'm a solid wrench and can do most bike maintenance (apart from any internal engine stuff) -- I've also done construction and demolition for 7 years if anybody needs help with DIY projects.
I'm in France and I was looking to head toward Germany and then Eastern-ish Europe, but I'd love your guys' suggestions on places I should check out (even apart from MX stops).
Thanks!
Sounds like you’re going to have a great time travelling! Have fun and keep us updated with some pics and stories from your journey!!
If you're planning to hit Italy, look up dorno. One of the coolest tracks in Italy and they have a rental fleet
Maybe catch MXGP? I think there is 4 or 5 left. Next one is in Sweden, August 13.
If you plan on travelling through southern Germany, I may be able to show you some nice places, old castles or cities. I live in a small town between Stuttgart and the Lake of Constance, so if you come through this area, just contact me.
There is not much MX related stuff to do down here, but if you want, we can hit some small tracks which are located not far from where I live.

He said that he is close to broke and free-balling his trip so bike rentals could sting the budget a bit.
I understand his post as In he is prepared to service a bike in trade for a few laps on a track. He also mentioned construction of some sort....
I've done a bit of cheap back packing in the day and it was a wonderful experience.
Where you at in France ?
You should stop and get your boots cleaned while you’re over seas. I know of a guy.
Hahahahaha...
Namur if you are a Moto Historian .
Spa and Nurburgring and Hockenheim are all pretty close to each other too.

Dude yes! That would be so cool — I’ll definitely take you up on that. Thank you 🙌🏼
Hell yeah, I’ll take you up on that as well
I’m in Paris for the next week, then I’m going to the south of France with my friend for the rest of the month. After that I’ll be on my own
Hit me up! I just bought a house just at the danish/german border and have a spare bed you could crash in. I'm not online here all that often, but you can dm me on ig so we can keep in touch if it should pan out. @hansen_447
If you’re in southern Spain I might be able to hook you up. Won’t be MX but riding in the mountains outside Malaga .
Followed and DMed you on Instagram! I’m @JacobEhm on there
I will definitely hit you up if I go that way 🙌🏼
Spending quality time with Mia, whether she's sniffing around or lounging in the shade, sounds like a wonderful bonding experience. It's moments like these that remind us to slow down and appreciate the simple joys of companionship.
