I may be a sentimental old fool but I really enjoyed this program. The music was an added bonus. I feel kinda "justified" when our "fringe" sport is spotlighted like this. Reminds me of watching Carlsbad on ABC back in the day. I felt like maybe people got to see I wasn't a freak for being so into this dirt bike thing.Woohoo
Agreed. Just enjoy the coverage, some of today's fans have no idea how far the television coverage of the sport has evolved.

So true, if we were lucky, we would get some motorcycle racing once or twice a year on Wide World of Sports back in the day.

They should have called it 4 STUDS.
what an awesome show.
great music too.
try listening to the vocals and then watch what's happening on screen...they go hand in hand
stanfield is a great host.
that needs to be available on DVD...sick.

Thought it was a great show and the music tied in perfectly! (some of you would complain if you were hung with new rope)!
Very cool having other "Legends" talk so highly of the 4 Studs!

Well done Todd Huffman and crew!

Thanks for all the comments guys. I helped with the show. We picked the music based on what was happening in that year (James being born=Michael Jackson, Bad)

It was fun to be a part of!

Excellent show. It's a great way for someone new to the sport to get some insight into the history and what's going on today.

Needs to be expanded and they could pretty much do 4 x 1 hour shows from each decade.

Howdy gang!

Thanks for all the kind comments. It was cool to see the show on the big/little screen after all these months!

To follow up on what Big E said above. We had the unique opportunity to use popular music with these stories and thought we would keep it chronologically with the stories. Plus, have a little fun with the varied genres and hits that people from all over the country would remember (even if you didn't like it at the time-i.e.Chumba Wumba).

Jeremy was born in 1971 (In San Francisco) and "Shaft" was in the top of the billboard charts then. But mixin' it up from Tom Petty to MJ to Pearl Jam, Chris Brown, Kelly Clarkson and Rascal Flats was all by design to appeal to a lot of different people (most who don't know s--t about SX).

Anyway, it was fun to do and we hope to do more.

C-ya!

What an awesome show. Great stuff Todd, Big E! This is DVD material right away. Actually I'd love to have it on my iphone.

I believe that Tim Ferry and Steve Matthes are not really happy with the SLC 2003 comments by RC. 7 years later, still 2 strong different visions of the race.

I loved every bit of it and the music was such an added bonus. I thought it went perfect with every rider and every scene! It gave me chills during some parts. Thank you very much for putting together such an amazing show.

Anyone on here complaing about the music or picking out little things like who said what that ruined it for them maybe should have watched it on mute or turned the channel.
I'm happy just to see or sport on mainstream tv and even if they played opera music the whole time I would have watched with a smile.
