GuyB came up on another thread in non-moto and any references to him were clipped. Quickly. GuyB would have also clipped the accounts so nah, I think we're safe.

LOTS of folks got clipped for reasons known only to GuyB and not because of politics or religion being in moto. Hell, I got clipped once because I demanded that he show me what rules I had broken to justify deleting a bunch of posts. Those were dark days for this board.
PS - this thread is gonna get clipped as soon as ML wakes up. ;-)
During the full onset of libtardmx I keep posting a screenshot of gibbersons libtardism from other social media. Knew I was going to get clipped, and thought it was funny. I'll behave better for the current guys running the site, but every time I notice gibberson or mathes I'll have fun with a "Suck it Steve" comment!
Gibby could have a quick trigger finger for sure, but usually it was for a good reason. Look, he started Monkey Drive and pretty much anything went back then, but when that board got folded into Vital some of the rules changed.
ML has done a great job with allowing some things to stay that Steve never would, but it still doesn't change the fact that there are rules and if we don't like them we can leave.
that was my main beef with him: he had no idea what "the rules" were. Essentially, if he decided it went against his own political leanings, it was clipped. I asked him to point to what rule was broken countless times and never could/would answer me. then he'd clip me.
Gibberson comes back and I know a whole lot of folks that will simply take this site out of their favorites....

ML made a smart move by allowing politics (within reason) in non-moto. It keeps that crap out of the rest of the forums.
