You have that all wrong, this guy offered Rob a sweet deal to be part of his business and he turned it down, so nothing was stolen, he was well aware of this being made.

Systems Powerlift MX stand is showing as NLA

If op delivers and has good customer service to deal with any issues, it's a good buy.

Clones are usually cheaper than the original. They’re both more than I would pay for a stand but I’m sure people will buy them.

Wasn't the 2025 CRF 450 on something similar in the MXGP preview/reveal pics?

That one had foot-use up and down buttons on the side, is this the same deal?

So if these guys are the patent owners and whatnot, are Matrix and the others just putting stickers on them and marking them up a shit tonne?

I presumed they just cloned it and had the parts made overseas to lower production costs. Either way, certainly a more attractive product at that lower price.

The Matrix version is $500-600 or so. Matrix bought the company that had invented or was building the original powerstand. I wonder how this one works into things. Is it a stolen design and patent infringement? Or is this other company just able to make and sell them for 1/3rd the price of the Matrix versions?

At $500-600 the Matrix version is a hard sell for most of my customers. Even the ones who will spend $1000's on Ti and carbon fiber bits.  But at $250 , I bet a lot more sell.

I guess my question is: if these can be produced and sold for $225, why did matrix put them on the market for $600?

Don't you find, when manual lifting your bike on the stand, and you go grab the back wheel, you always find the lock nut or valve stem ?

So was Rob making electric stands prior to you making electric stands?

This stand is great for greasing the linkage and maintenance situations like that.  You can slowly go up and down while pulling out the bolts in  the linkage until they slide right out.  Great product

I guess my question is: if these can be produced and sold for $225, why did matrix put them on the market for $600?

Matrix is having there stands made in china so they would have to find a manufacture and then that manufacture needs to find other manufacturers in china to make these different parts then the original manufacture puts them together and then they ship them already assembled, so they are being charged for the other manufactures making parts and the manufacture that's putting them together as well then there is the shipping, so if you ship in volume and it takes up alot of space you are going too be charges $2-$4 a kg if you have less space you will be charged 0.20-0.90 cents kg for weight not space importing is tricky so there shipping is expensive One Race Won gets the parts and they assemble them in the United states so matrix is paying $300-$400 a stand after all is said and done so they need to make a profit and thats why they are $600 importing is tricky so you have to know how to do that plus it has to do with who you know in China for better deals. WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF IMPORTING GENTELMAN. And by the way i don't make the stands i just know the Company.

I saw them on ebay also, and I am talking myself into buying one. Always liked the matrix one but no way I was going to spend $600 on it and I am a tool and shop junkie so I am sure I will have one when I start my new build soon. Cool

I have a couple of these stands and i love them i bought mine on Facebook marketplace and they shipped to me but i don't know why people are hating on them, i think its because these stands are for the more vet crowd, these young guys want to be cool and pick there bike up, to each is own. its all preference.

Remember when you first started riding, and your Dad told you that if you can’t pick up your bike, then you are not big enough to ride it ?  Same rule applies here.

Not really because he also said if you can't start it you can't ride it well 50 up to 450 are electric start does that apply?

I think I hate this product more than holeshot devices.

Motocross riders: This is the toughest sport on earth, watch me pound out a 30 minute moto on this gnarly track.

Also motocross riders: O boy, I sure could use some help lifting my bike onto it's stand. It is very strenuous to take the 3 seconds to lift it and position it properly.

I just lift the swing arm slightly with my other hand, with the bike on the stand, it takes very little effort 🤷
