Tri color is our male, Jax.

Brown and white is female, Annie.

They would die of exhaustion chasing tennis balls hit with a racket.

Annie is about 8 and has had surgery on both knees but is slowly rebuilding stamina.

I have a cdl and last time I had my physical my blood pressure was a little high.

I go into the restroom to give a urine sample and I hear the nurses talking about what that means.

Dr takes it again and it is higher. Explains that it means that I will start having to get a physical every 6 months, from now on.

I ask him what happens if I can get it down. He says then I am fine.

So I ask him to give me 15 minutes to lay there on the exam table with the light off.

I block everything out and focus on those goofy dogs when weather is bad and I go down and hit the balls for them in our 270' long stable (converted chicken barn). They really do Crack me up with their maneuvers and personalities.

Dr comes back, takes my BP and it is normal. Says he had never seen somebody get it down that much that quickly without medication.

Physical every 2 years is fine.

This is my 3rd son, Bug. I’ve always been a beagle guy but he showed up in rough shape on a co-worker’s farm back in 2014. I said I’d bring him home for a weekend and see how my beags liked him, the rest is history. He’s been a great addition and made me want to rescue more dogs in the future instead of always just picking out akc pups.

This is Buddy!  He is an asshole, but we love him.

This is Milo. He’s tired and it s raining like the South Pacific outside; so, he’s got a giant case of “Screw it”. 

This little guy Casper has been coming around for awhile now. My wife thinks it’s insane to have a squirrel chillin in the garage with me. The Amazon and, FedEx ladies love him.

Ashie the Hungarian Puli. She is the biggest diva out of all my dogs. Have 3 of them plus a tibetan mastiff. Great company.

Most of my TV watching is either, DVR'd, or delayed.

I can't reach for the remote fast enough.

My thoughts are, all you can do is take the best care of the ones you own.

Or own you as is usually the case.

One more thing.

How weird is it when you go to someone's home and they don't have any animals ??

After some of the stare downs I get when dinner is served even one minute late, there's no way I'd leave a pistol anywhere near Eddie. 

That’s hilarious! So is he wild and just comes in the garage to chill when he sees you with the door open? Or does he live in there? When I was a teen in wisco we had a wild grouse in our woods that was real friendly like that. It would show up anytime it heard a pitbike and start following you around, didn’t mind if you picked it up, would even stand on your shoulder like a parrot if ya stayed still!

I just finished reading a book titled Always Faithful about the marine dogs of WWII on Guam. Almost exclusively Dobermans. Its amazing and inspiring how inteligent and courageous these dogs were. I dont read books near as much as I used too, but I had this one done in 2 days. I couldnt put it down.

Like you, whenever that ad comes on, I change the channel.
