Metcalfe Cases Triple @ Indy

Did anyone get a shot/video of Brett Metcalfe casing the triple at Indy in his qualifier? He absolutely came to a stop when he hit case the third jump - the triple before the start straight.

He recovered quickly with more laps without stopping - I was shocked given his ankle injury. He obviously came back for the main. I hope that he's alright going into next week.

When I talked to him before the main, he said his goal was just to finish. He looked pretty good out there...hopefully he was good after, too.

if he wants us to talk about him he needs to send some stupid text's and fuck with Pourcel in the pits.

He will probably get on TV to deny it too and lets face it the French are not so popular here any ways.

What about the dude on the Kawi that came up completely short on the triple by the start... He managed to ride off to behind the mechanics then the asterisk crew wrapped up his arm and took him out.. I watched him come off the takeoff and knew right away he was hosed.. Kept the front end high and smacked the front of the landing

He looked in a lot pain when he was riding off the track after the heat. I noticed he was practically hanging off the back of his bike. But it happened right in front of us, and that was one of the worst cases ive seen in a long time.

I thought the track was kinda fugged up anyway,Nobody really had to do the step on step offs,Just jumped over them and that was boring!

I didn't see it, but from the description that was Justin Freund, #659. His mom just told me about it on the phone. Said he was mad because the Asterisk guys wouldn't let him back out on the track.
