Will may not have conveyed the message very well, but it would be an additional hurdle, and obviously someone at HRC said so.

Many riders struggle to communicate setup issues to the team. Imagine trying to do that in a second language, and in a new team.

Hrc techs are all Japaneses including the showa techs. The Americans working at the test track are just assistances to them.

You would think a Japanese rider with English as a 2nd language would be able to communicate better with those techs as there are in the exact same situation.
