I love how one side of the issue is all of the scientists, and the other side is all the people that cannot spell *you’re* correctly.

The modern world does not work on common sense. Money and power is more important to the elite, guess who funds most of the institutions with these controlled scientists. They are no different then many gov officials and the media who are funded by the same people, sadly this is nothing new.

hey, here's a scientist!!

https://www.ihmc.us/stemtalk/episode-158/?fbclid=IwAR1An5pYMd-WRenovxiF…

"Dr. Judith Curry, Professor Emerita of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Judy also is president of the Climate Forecast Application Network and the host of the blog, Climate Etc, which you can find at JudithCurry.com. Judy’s blog provides  a forum for climate researchers, academics and technical experts from other fields as well as citizen scientists to discuss topics related to climate science and policy."

and guess what? She doesn't think "climate change" is all it's cracked up to be....

Not correct, last decade some parts of the southern hemisphere were dry, other parts were wet.

The world is a big place, all the oceans have temperature oscillations, the Antarctic Oscillation, Arctic Oscillation, Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation, Indian Ocean Dipole, Madden-Julian Oscillation, North Atlantic Oscillation, North Pacific Gyre Oscillation, North Pacific Oscillation, Pacific Decadal Oscillation, Pacific-North American Pattern.

They all have an effect on local and global weather, their interactions are complex, and too difficult for media to present in 3 minute sound bits. Most people don't care, all they want to know is what the weather is tomorrow and next week.

Vital folks are PhD level smart

There are no climate scientists posting on this forum, just as there is no one on this forum that is qualified to dispute their research, regardless of how many Facebook memes you’ve read.

Ummmm.... I didn't mention it because it didn't happen. In fact it's discussed on the link I provided if you'd like to review facts

God, I’ve never heard so many whiners complaining about the weather this year. Weather is unpredictable. It always has been. Sometimes we have wetter seasons than others.

some of you, people act like FELD has carte blanche pick of whatever stadium they want whenever they want for Supercross. Any of the football stadiums are not an option through the middle of February. There’s only a limited number of other domes in the country I believe 17 and all. I believe five of them are in Texas and another two are in Florida. You also have to go to places where you can sell tickets.

on top of that every stadium doesn’t want dirt trucked into their facility. There are also many other events going on like concerts, etc. that rent these stadiums out. Some of you think Supercross is the most popular sport in the world and they should get whatever they want. Like 3 hours of prime time network TV coverage. Sorry to tell you it’s not. Complaining about the weather or the probably the same ones bitching about they have to pay $1.50 to watch 5+ hours of live coverage. 99.99999 percent of the population doesn’t care at all about Supercross.

Do we want to watch a slop fest? Of course not but it’s part of this sport. so quit, whining or don’t watch.

I watched a Documentary called Encino Man about a cave man frozen in a block of Ice for about 10,000 years in a time when there were no Smokey 2-stroke dirt bikes, no Hemi Cudas or any other horrible carbon emitting inventions. First thing he said when thawed and he awoke was, where’s all the Ice, there must be global warming.   I guess global warming has been going on since the last Ice age, not just the last 150 years like Al Gore wants us to believe.   Seems like the biggest offenders with the biggest carbon footprints are the Elites who tell us to buy electric everything, while they live in giant mansions, fly private jets and sail the world in their diesel powered Yacht’s

I'm not a climate scientist but have looked at a fair bit of meteorological data to chase these things over the last 15 years.

I think the same that George Carlin about the planet. Modern era has probably speed up a phenomenon that already happened in the past. Nobody gonna save the planet.

I'm starting to feel like I'm one of the few that actually reads and understands the original post in threads instead of just responding to the thread title. Hint: this thread has nothing to do with climate change. But carry on and let me know who wins the argument.

I agree with him. She'll kick your ass easily whenever she wants and those who think they're going to save the planet are people emotionally interested in a complex topic to find some sense at their life and have also an issue with the idea of their own death. Nobody gonna save the planet.

yes and no. he's whining about mudders (topic 1) but is tying mudders back to climate change as "the good ol days of good Southern Cali weather are over cause of climate change"(topic 2).

the group consensus is not in agreement w/ him but he vanished so hasn't been around to debate.

What's your problem, bro? My favorite team sport is ice hockey. You obviously seem to have a problem with that and I will now verbally assault you on a dirt bike forum for 3 months.

it comes from dinosaurs and it's finite. And if we'd all just stop using it, the planet wouldn't heat up like it has done since the dawn of time.
