Oh yes it should be plenty enough, I was wondering if you would even consider taming it down with a different head dome or porting or even slightly heavier fly wheel as I’m sure on some vintage tracks you race on it’s not prepped deep and it gets slippery so you can lack traction.
We see many people get porting and wants a FAST 250 but in reality they can’t handle it more than a couple laps. lol
I think it’s way easier to go fast with a smoother power delivery.
Nice, had a 2002 kx250 years ago.
Still have procircuit barmount in the garage if you are searching one?
I'll not know until I ride it but I adapt quite easily so I'm sure it'll be fine as-is. A heavier flywheel would perhaps be something easy to swap out and try but I'm not a fussy rider. Agree on your points though!
Thanks, I'm sorted on that...NOS PC Clamps and Bar mounts:

Chuck, what grit do you finish your swingarms with? The last few builds the swingarms look fantastic, I know you said it’s a process but what is the final finish?
320 grit then red scotch/wd40 essentially. The graft is getting to the point you’re ready to start putting the brushed effect back into it with 320. Speaking of swingarms…
Garage 11 supplied DSP replica carbon chain guide. Docwob titanium and aluminium wheel nut. Docwob billet 240mm oversized carrier anodised PC brown.
Yeah i got to that point with one of mine today, they do look rubbish polished.
This build is top shelf. Nice work.
Rear brake assembly today. All titanium hardware and titanium nitride coated piston. New seals, vapour blasted caliper/master cyl, PC brake reservoir, billet clevis, Venhill hose and few new OEM bits.
Crankcases fully vapour blasted, flatted and cleaned ready for assembly. 4 new cylinder studs installed. All new Kawasaki bearings ready to go in…
I am searching for a replacement hose to connect the reservoir with the rear master cylinder. Albeit for a Honda steelframe. May I ask where you got it from? Many thanks
If you need a test rider, i could make some time. Really nice build.
Speak to Corby Kawasaki in the UK, they stock japanese hose in correct measurements for cr/kx rear masters…cheap too.
Haha thanks mate, I should have it covered for now though!
Almost new set of 1999-2003 49mm Pro Circuit Showa A Kit Forks and Shock!
Pit Row

Engine building day today. New ProX rod installed to the crank.
Stator refurbed. Plug removed and to replace outer sheathing that had a burn from the exhaust. Luckily all wires inside were still perfect.
Ohhhhh mate ! This is going to be sick!!!
Good lord! I am going to start referring to you as Charles. Someone with such extinguished taste must be called an equally distinguished name!
Hahaha, it’s funny you should say that…
All in fun mate! Seriously get excited everytime I see a new chuckdavies build! Keep the updates coming.
Awesome attention to detail chuck! Always enjoy drooling over your builds. Can't wait to see this one done. I have a 99 125 I've slowly been hoarding stuff for and this is definitely giving me motivation to get on it. Side note sorry to derail but if anyone knows where to get a set of those cool berg racing carbon airbox streamliner guards pm me on here plz thanks!
