Help us Pick a Privateer to Support

We teamed up with www.OpenFender.com to help promote the Privateer but also use their platform to raise money, first starting with paying for the Entry Fee

But we need help in figuring out who the best person or what riders should be eligible for this - ideally we would like to have each rider set up their own profile, this way fans of that rider can be specific on who it goes to...but of now we will get the ball started and already having people donate and we have an entry to need to pay for this weekend!

On the Open Fender platform you can boost a rider, which can send as little as $10 to the cause or you can pick a race where. you pay for their entry

Go here to help Open Fender

Help if you can or if you can let us know what riders you think we should support, hopefully this continues and we can open up this discussion each week!

You lost me at "Open Fender does have a 10% of donated-funds" that I found in your FAQ. (not to mention the payment processing fees you pas on as well)

A 10%+ cut of every dollar is a steep fee for a QR code that links to a payment site. I get that for free from Venmo.

It's the best platform we have found to try to organize this and we also are paying the difference to the rider, so they don't see the fees. - not sure if there is anything out there that doesn't charge something, most we found were higher as much 30% which is crazy

I posted this in the other thread.

Doc Smith, worked all summer long to save money to race SX. He drove his van from Tx to Ca and works on his own bikes. He buys his own bikes and parts. Was going to sleep in his van for the west rounds but got a deal on staying at Grindstone. Where he sleeps in a shared dorm room and pays rent for bed and shop space. He lives on the money Feld pays. That is as privateer as it comes. How long can he do it? I don’t know but he is giving his dream the best chance he can. I’m very proud of him making it happen on his own.

Are you set on it being a west coast rider? 450 riders will be at every round as opposed to the 250 racers.
