I have changed my selections and strategies about five times today. This got me wondering...why is there no thread on this ?
Is it a case of "Welcome to Fantasy Club. The first rule of Fantasy Club is: you do not talk about Fantasy Club. The second rule of Fantasy Club is: you DO NOT talk about Fantasy Club!"
Having said that, is Hunter racing this weekend ? or is his head knock still making him see tweety bird. I have a feling he will come out guns blazing ...and he is half the price of his brother.
Hunter is racing.
Good, I picked him.
There was one last week... I went opposite strategy this week, small team, expensive guys. Changed my team 5 times last week, haven't touched it this week.
I’m pretty happy with my team. A 450 favourite and a 250 favourite then just guys who I think are value for money.
Im sure if you can do all the maths there is a strategy that works out best everytime with favourites vs mid pack and the points you get.
especially when everyone starts to end up in similar positions every night after a couple of rounds.

Last week I swapped Sexton for Tomac. I originally had Sexton because I figured it's A1 and Eli will play it smart just get through unscathed somewhere in the top 10 and Sexton will come out full swing. Then after press day Sexton looked uncomfortable compared to Eli so I fired Sexton and hired Tomac. That move cost me a few spots. Plus Hunter hurt my results also. I remember reading somewhere Jett saying Hunter is faster than him on a 450. Faster to the trailer maybe.... lol
Is his big toe busted? It was stated on the pulpmx fantasy show
I tried to figure out what the theoretical top score was last weekend. It's on my computer at work and I'm snowed in at home, but I think it was about 147 pts and a team of about 10-11 riders and the pics were mostly in the 250 class, several of which were lower priced riders (sub 60k?) that pulled points.
Same, I think I ended up with 10 riders last week, and the only one that paid off was JuJu. I'm pretty sure the best bet is going all-in with expensive riders, you are pretty much guaranteed a good score unless they dont make the main or DNF.
This week, i'm going in with 2 strategies, people I think will do well if it's a mudder, or top picks if it is not a mudder. Either way, my team will be maxed out at 5-6 riders
I like this league with no handicap numbers to deal with. I ended up with 8 riders this week…tried to load a few mud riders in there to ensure we won’t be dealing with any rain on Saturday
