No idea, but can you imagine how silly that would look now? How is that going to be received by everyone if that happened now? I'm not sure the fear is justified anymore, especially with Feld and peacock being so involved. There are guys that refuse to talk to matthes, he still gets a credential when he wants one and is doing fine.

Another thing preventing this sport from taking another step forward is the bush league “good ol’ boys” club that lets the teams control what is said and reported on. The teams need the media far more than the media needs the teams…time they start acting like it.

You are correct, take-outs are nothing new, but they're usually done for a purpose, like winning a race. Not so the rider can claim 10th place on the first lap of the first main of the year.
And then give me the other examples of guys who put a cash bounty out on guys they were fighting for a championship against.

I agree. Did you read where ML is refusing to ask questions? It's not about "waging war" against anyone - it's about DOING A JOURNALIST'S JOB, which frustratingly doesn't happen much in moto-media unless it's hard hitting questions like "How was your weekend?" or "How is your bike working?"
Each round, the top riders should take him out, push him over a berm in rotations. Maybe, by rotating they could avoid some repercussions.
