Tomac only needs 22 to beat it. I'm hoping he'll race 2025 and 2026, and get there first.
Records are made to be broken. I always laugh when people say one can't be beat.
It's a done deal...The Oligarch's have decided. Why do you think we sit through a 3 hour "Laurence bros" infomercial each week....
Tomac isn't winning another 22 races.
He may not win another race, he was almost lapped at Anaheim!
Saw it with his own eyes last night.
Times up.
This is week 1. Tomac almost always gets off to a slow start. He'll be fine. He should be good for around 7 wins this season. Right on track.
Its so brutal at first didn’t mind the Lawerence brothers now I might be one of their biggest hatters and it’s not because of them it’s because of the non stop Lawrence brothers blowing by the broadcast. They’ve been repeating the same damn story for two years now.
At least he kick starts his bike
Tomac would be the only one. Age is catching him though. Jett is awesome but he’s not as far advanced as the competition as MC was back in the day. I’m not saying he is better than MC or anyone in their prime but the technique and speed of the comp is closer today. The talent is closer and the bikes are way closer. It would take a total freak at this point. Would be cool to see but I just can’t imagine it.
That's what ppl said about some1 having a perfect mx season again.
The competition is closer, etc etc etc.
So that should make jetts achievement even more impressive.
I’m all for it. And as you said I thought the same about the perfect season outdoors. It’d be cool to see just hard to fathom. Guess save this thread for 5 years from now haha
Aside from Sexton, all the riders who could potentially take it to Jett over the course of a championship are close to, or over 30 years old. If they aren't gone in a year or two they certainly won't be at championship or even race winning potential.
As for 250 graduates, there's really only Deegan who might challenge Jett, but that's at least two years away.
As far as Anaheim 1 goes though it was pretty much a text book McGrath race by Jett, Jett will be hard to beat if he gets a good start with how well he manages races in front.
Carmichael’s last full season was at age 26. If he went SX only, like McGrath did the last four years of his career, he could have made a run at it. Would have needed to average 6 wins per season to do it. Villopoto was in a similar position, although he’d have needed to average slightly more wins per season.
Post a reply to: McGrath's 72 Supercross wins will never be beaten
