Definitely weird. I’m in a state where gambling isn’t legal. No casinos but I can play fantasy. Probably need to wait for more info on it..I’d say this definitely was not the plan..

Tried to sign up and said my state (TEXAS) was not permitted????  Even though according to their it should be???

Someone probably turned them in for not following some sort of gambling regulations. I’m sure they don’t want to do this. 

I logged in just fine. Maybe if your new you might have to wait for sign up to open. 

They don’t delete your account but you won’t be able to play

The gambling laws are state by state, all 50 of them, apart from any concessions that states might have to yield to tribal nations under federal law.

Or just wait until the announcement rather than overload them with questions that will be answered in the announcement. That way they can spend their time working on the best possible solution to problem. 
 

This obviously is not a Pulp decision rather something they were dealt with and have to address. 
 

more sign ups means more revenue (and rightfully so) for the organizers so again my point this is not a Pulp decision.

Everyone can play if you use a VPN. ExpressVPN already is working great on the site. 

Someone should charge a small fee and input teams for people that can't play. Send you my login info and message you my team before the race and you put it in for me.

In a very very simplified nutshell you can change you location to a different state. I use a VPN anytime I'm on a public internet connection (like a coffee shop), as it's great for security.

Sorry, I didn’t see the reply before mine. Yes, I was implying that a vpn should solve this unless I’m missing something.

Surprised my state of NC is on the list because we cant do shit as far as gambling goes.

If it specifically states that the users shipping address will have to be within one of the approved states than yes. It’s possible it does not specify that. I hope….

Im sure it does, you will probably have to have some kind of drivers license verification as well thats how these giveaways are typically done with prizes. 

Can't wait to hear everyone bitching about Pulp. I'm sure they are doing everything they can to get everyone able to play. I don't think most people realize what a cash cow PulpMX Fantasy was. Ten thousand plus people in the paid league and most prizes are donated or heavily subsidized, trust me they want it open for everyone.
