Replacing Reed with Dungey? not sure how you figure that out since Dungey was already on the same team. I think Suzuki would rather have Reed then Stroupe, and I bet Reed wouldn't be in the same position he is now if he still was on Suzuki. The main reason it happened was because Monster Energy was the main sponsor for SuperX (so it makes since for Reed to be on the same team that Monster sponsors) and I don't think Monster Energy & Rockstar would go to well at Suzuki

If Reed had stayed with Suzuki he would be right in the hunt... I think DeCoster wanted Reed and Dungey... Dungey was never Reeds replacement and Suzuki made Reed an offer. Moss was Reed replacement.

boy those suzukis are strong this year. i dont think stroupe has had a start worse than 3rd also. im pretty impressed with the yellow bikes this year

You really don't know what you're talking about.

Suzuki didn't have the money for Reed and Dungey both with the money Reed wanted. And fair enough for Reed to set his value and stick to it. The Kawi rider came later and Monster made it happen.

Comparing Stroupe's role to Reed's is dopey. I'm sure they'd rather have Reed for Stroupe money.

All things being equal, Suzuki went with the guy who plans to stay racing bikes longer. Sounds like everyone made the right decisions under the circumstances.

yeah, good call. but your post is still your typical james the best i hate reed cuz he's the opposition type bs. I give you credit thought creative when you cant boast about bubbles. (I have an unbiased opinion and could careless who wins, im a fan of racing.)
